Actually, the DF foundry analysis did show most of the X1X game-play hovering around 30fps. The most horrendous dips were when parachuting for plains with the deep draw distance and more detailed 4K image. The game does need some more optimization, but is very playable.

but you shouldnt need to get a one x just to enjoy the game on console, it should be a solid frame rate even on the base hardware.

@kevnb I have lots of friends playing it on the base Xbox, 16 out of 111 last night, I talk to 9 of them and they all like it alot. Go figure people that have played like it and people that just comment and read opinion pieces but have not played it complain about how bad it is

many people dont really care about frame rate issues that much, we had them in almost every console game last gen. Personally I couldnt even stand console gaming most of last gen, but now with these mid gen upgrades things are looking better. I also remember being unable to play goldeneye at all while all my friends loved it, I cant even play a game that runs that slowly because I get dizzy and lose track of what im doing.

I have now decided to get the preview after I initially told myself to wait for additional updates first. It looks fun as heck. With almost 500,000 users playing this already, the early framerate issues don't seem that big of an issue for many xbox gamers. Another game gets added to my X 👍🏼

My buddy has been playing it on his base Xbox... Its ugly, its buggy, but he is having a blast. The game is not perfect or even a looker on PC, but its FUN and FUN > Graphics.

I'm not excusing the sub 20fps though... that needs to get changed right away to AT LEAST a solid 30fps.

PUBG runs a lot better when you turn off DVR and Broadcasting. Everything loads faster too. Hopefully, I can spread this news and some people can help me out here. This will help people enjoy the game more. Fun game, still can't believe how I killed someone by running them over with a motorcycle randomly while he was lying on the ground lol.

LOL, keep trying. Havent you heard this is coming to PS4 later down the line whether you like it or not or believe it or not. Bluehole has been in talks with sony and Phil said it will be "First" on Xbox one before other systems. So there you have it. Not that I care about this game. Dont care for fortnite either. Just like rise of the tomb raider. MS really is the only company of buying Multiplats to be timed exclusive. If they never intervened this would have been multiplat but they needed something they think will Push Xbox. Even with the release of Xbox one X last month, PS4 still wins NPD. Well cant blame MS. they are on the edge of a knife thinking this game will make everyone buy and play an xbox. MS thinks MP is everyones cup of tea.

I thought this game had already been released and that's why people were complaining. But now that I know it's just early access I don't understand all the BS coming from people........Early Access is just what it implies and doesn't mean a bugless experience. But considering how entrenched some are into their cup of tea............I'm not surprised.

This game is never getting optimized. If you have less than 8 gbs of Raam the game can't even fully load textures in for minutes preventing you from entering houses. I went and got 20 gbs of Raam and everything loaded fine and there was no microstuttering suddenly but the hardware you need just run this game is absurd and ARK didn't even do this even at Early access launch despite also being unoptimized to hell. I haven't had any problems with fortnite because that one isn't developed using recycled unity assests and actually runs well, but both games are bad in their own ways and I imagine the collective popularity bubble will burst sometime after this launches. It's no surprise the same people who stream these games are the same people who streamed MOBAs for years.

It's always been a mess regardless of platform. Yes PC has gotten a lot better but do we really think the Xbox version isn't going to make improvements? Microsoft absolutely over sold this and by putting hard copies of it in stores and probably gave people the impression that it was further along than it is. However, it's your job as a consumer to understand what your buying and to know that Early Access is EARLY. It's also a decent thing as a human being to let people enjoy what they enjoy and keep your negativity to yourself.

It's a very popular, very fun game, with timed exclusivity on XBOX. Of course it is going to garner a ton of attention from anyone that plays a different platform. They're just hating on the bugs and glitches, which are standard for early access games.

Yes early access that is $30 and was said to run at 60fps, then 30 now it is unstable. This is down to the dev but Phil and the boys hyped it as a huge exclusive game and it runs like poo poo

It’s a graphical mess, clunky at times, rubberbanding but it’s fun. It’s in early preview with an update that already improved performance.

The end game should be way better. I’d love a quick mode where everyone starts in the same spot and a weapons crate drops scattering the weapons. Everyone rushes to get away or get a weapon and kill others.

PUBG is a lot of fun on Xbox. I haven’t seen so many people on my friends list playing the same game since Destiny 1. It’s UNFINISHED I’m not sure why this needs to keep being said. It’s far from broken which would mean it is basically unplayable WHICH IT IS NOT! It’s always people that never experienced the game who criticize the most. Funny how that works...
