Yeah this is what I wished Rockstar would have done for PS4 Pro users, a nice visual bump, by just modding the world so it would look like this... more realistic.. and even add the sounds, like the car sounds, it just sounds amazing... Stuff like that would have made me run out and get a pro...

Even if it was not free but like a 15 dollar upgrade, would have been worth it to see the pro version tweaked to take advantage of the extra power over a original PS4...

On the other hand, I would of thought a Pro could manage 60fps too

I'm not sure what kind of PC could run this at a decent frame rate. Maybe it's just me but when games become too realistic looking the less interesting they become.

@ moldybread, I kinda see what you mean, by you don't want it to be too realistic, but you still want it to look as high detail as they can get it... just not with the intention of trying to make real life look, but like still graphics just higher graphic not photo real graphics... if that makes sense but yeah I agree with you.

I just thought it would be cool to have it like a mod, like fallout, if they added mods to the PS4 pro version so you can have stuff like this same world but with a different look, different color different light effects, stuff that the PC guys are enjoying right now, they just put on a mod and it's same game just with a fresh new look and sounds and stuff... would be cool to have the option, especially since it doesn't change game play, just adds a new look.

Then you could have like private servers, like how battlefield 4 did, where you rent a server, so these people won't be playing with other people if that's what your worried about and that way we could keep our modded cars and stuff brought into the world and that community could stay kinda off the grid and come back whenever they want by turning mod off...

If that makes sense... would just be a cool way they could sell the same game again, because people would re-buy if you could get to play the game with these type of mods... I would love to see that on my 4k TV..

Either way I still find it nice to be able to have a dip into an example of what future graphics will look like. It's awesome what modders can do to games, and raise the bar for the developers of said game.

I remember playing super nintendo games and imagining going into the background scenes of the snes games. Then we got 3d, and more realistic graphics. Now only a few console generations away we are almost to lifelike graphics. Once that bar is reached, and were at the point of diminished return, and nearly every game looks the same maybe we will see more returns to stylized graphics cell shaded, and lastly VR, or future developed iterations.

The future is scary, but beautiful at the same time.

Rockstar need to learn that 12 years of work and 5000 employees doesn’t account for one persons opinion on the internet…

Oh and hundreds of millions of dollars in revanue to boot.

Lots of complaints about gta ever since the hd era started and yet it's bugger than its ever been with gta vi up to 180 million trailer views alone. The next game is shaping it be be another genre defining game

They already learned they dont have to actually make a great game

The controls of RDR2 felt a but cluncky indeed, but it’s not as bad as some make it out to be. At no point did I get the feeling my experience with the game was held back or ruined by the controls.
But it can never hurt to optimize them a bit, sure.

I did accidentally beat someone to death a couple times. An unfortunate mistake but besides that I didn't have any problems with the controlls

Red Dead Redemption felt clunky at first but I got used to it fairly quick. I thought 2 was easier to control but it could be my experience with the first game helped me out. Great games

Profchaos36d ago

I wouldn't call Rockstar games characters clunky instead they feel like they move with Weight they are not twitch controls press x to instantly snap onto cover the characters instead move like a actor would ducking behind cover they are exposed while they get there.
