Gadgets 360 says:
"Bungie fails to recognise what made Destiny so memorable for its core user base - a sense of character progression. There’s no loot unless you include a gun you find in the first minute of the Homecoming level. Through out Destiny 1’s alpha, beta, and retail release, your character levelled up and obtained gear, which gave one the feeling of improvement even you were simply acquiring a new piece of armour in a random skirmish. None of this is present in the Destiny 2 beta yet, though it might well be when the game comes out eventually. Given how central this is to the experience, you’d think Bungie would play up those aspects, but so far the evidence points to the contrary."
Players had high expectations for Destiny’s latest content drop, Destiny 2: Into the Light. Not only did it have to live up to other content added due to a delay, it needed to give players faith the conclusion of the Light and Dark Saga will be worthwhile. - IS
Going to check out 'Into the Light " because it is free .
Warlocks in Destiny 2 are great for loads of things. Healing? We got that. Awesome PvE action? Sure! Warlock Mobility? Severely lacking.
An opinion piece about Warlock Mobility in Destiny 2 written by Jordan from The Nerd Stash.
A new Destiny 2 Cascade Point bug lets you turn boring weapons into miniguns that can melt through any boss' healthbar.
It will be in the full game. For the beta, they are making it seem like you get cool gear quickly, probably to tempt players that were not familiar with the first game to purchase D2.
so are there no rewards for playing crucible? Or at the end of the strike? That sort of sucks :P
but it's just a beta, so oh well.
Honestly don't care about getting too much loot especially since everything will be wiped when the game is officially released.
Especially with a player like myself I played all 3 classes I really just wanted to see how they all handle and new specials. If you play all 3 first missions each character gets a different exotic either in primary or secondary slot. So that's all I needed to get me to buy the game to see a sample of 3 new guns.
I really don't want to level up to have to do it all over come September. The beta was to get us excited for what's to come and also stress bungie servers. I'm excited for this game.
How is this a better game ? Granted I have only played the intro level seems the same to me
Is there too much story in the Beta?
