6 reasons why you'll love the Nintendo Switch

Here are six reasons why the Nintendo Switch will be an awesome console and why you'll love it.

Portability is something I like a lot. I've commented on so many Vita and 3DS articles cause portable consoles are perfect for my life/work style. If the system gets a Pokemon and Monster Hunter game(which I can definitely see both happening) I'll be sold on it. The new Mario game will most likely push me over along with Xenoblade 2 and Fire Emblem Warriors though if the latter two actually release this year.

Zelda is also on the Wii U, and you need to use an app on a cell phone to chat and join games? Nintendo needs to get with the times, they cant even do something both Sony and Microsoft have done since 2002

I think the chat app side has been miss read. The switch has an audio port on it so IDE expect chat to work this way. I do wonder what we do when the switch is docked as nothing has been said the joycons have any audio ports on them unless the holder for them had one. That side is still unanswered so Nintendo need to clear that up.

-No games lining up apart from some launch titles
-Not advance tech compare to PS4 or Xbox
-use of mobile phone app for voice chat

1) xbox one and ps4 are expensive consoles
2)neither had a free game at launch
3)both have seriously overpriced accessories still
4)both had a very weak launch lineup
5)xbox one and ps4 are trying hard to be the same thing, alot of gamers don't want a third console that is the same thing. In reality you are arguing that you just want one console but in reality no one wants one Cuz we all want the exclusives.
6) yeah, this was a stupid idea by nintendo. Probably their way of making sure creepy 50yo stalker isn't trying to get kids addresses. Only problem is then meeting new online friends isn't possible. But maybe they are explaining it wrong. Though I could see it being a complete non issue too. Guess we will find out in a couple months.

It could be a good thing when switching from TV to mobile mode.That way you stay connected. Like I've said before I am withholding judgment until I get to try it.

PS4 and X1 are both cheaper than the Switch right now and they both already have game libraries built up, yet you call them expensive?

Sure, they've both been out for a while but Nintendo is the one that changed their console releases to mid gen. They're pretty much just competing with them self.

Unless you're a diehard Nintendo fan I just don't see any reason to run out and grab one of these on release unless it's a gift for someone. Why not just wait until some holiday sales or game bundles once some of the other games release?

Sure, Zelda does look badass. I won't deny that one bit, but it's also coming out on the Wii U. There's no real incentive for people who own a Wii U to "Switch" quite yet until Mario comes out, other than just to have something new and shiny. A new toy to play with I guess.

If it was compatible with DS games that could be a game changer because not everybody likes to play on handheld devices, but I haven't heard anything about that. If that happens then I'll definitely look into getting one because I know I've missed out on a ton of great games that came out on that system.

Time will tell.
