Nintendo Switch: Price and Release Date Revealed

Nintendo finally unveils the pricing and release date for its massively anticipated new console, the Nintendo Switch.

With that price (299.99 usd), good luck Nintendo. You're going to need it. (It's off season too.)

I would assume people would rather get the other two established consoles, which already has an increasing library of games and an established and reliable network. Or even their pricier upgrades (pro/scorpio).

Only the Nintendo die hards are gonna eat this up. The same crew that bought wiiu.

And charging for online too? Come on Nintendo.

But in all honesty. Im just tired of Nintendo at this point. At the end of the day, it's a powerful handheld but a watered down console. Console gamers please move on. This needs to fail so better things can happen. Nintendo hasnt learned their lesson. So let's teach them one, don't buy!

Here's to hoping nintendo fails and gets bought up by either of the other two (sony/Microsoft.) That would usher a new age of gaming, something unlike we have ever seen before.

Yh the yen price converts to 200 pounds roughly apparently here in UK they are going to be charging 280.... Do one Nintendo. Even the use conversion is just under 250 pounds... Ripping us off even more. Officially makes xbox one and ps4 cheaper here in UK and ps4 pro slightly more.

I'm surprised they didn't announce the actual price for the UK and Eu market. Maybe they are testing the waters?

All Sony and Microsoft need to do is counter with another price drop and it's over. That $250 price point was just wishful thinking ;)

A price drop on the same day as switch release would be a declaration of war (the official console wars)
