I'm pretty sure it's because they knew they screwed up the announcement with the only 10 maps thing... But anyway, Raven has been actively listening to the community on Twitter. They told us that they are changing the headshot icons and knife kills to the original model (killfeed icons) and are changing some of the gun sounds to nearly match their original sounds. No word on the medals/announcers... But those are good changes so far :)

Potential foreshadow at the game being released on its own without buying Infinite Warfare.
Like I know everyone knows it will be released on its own soon enough but still, seems like a pretty obvious thing to say when Activision has constantly said otherwise.
