Game of the Year 2016 PS4: Contenders for the First Half of 2016

Here are PlayStation LifeStyle's Game of the Year 2016 contenders, thus far.

For me, it's like this:

1) The Witness
2) Dark Souls 3
3) Uncharted 4

Love all 3 immensely!

well that is shocking,.. Well try to get Talos Principle from PSN,.. I bet you will like it even more. (think it is way better then Witness (or Portal 2 for the matter)

For me, they are about equal. Talos Principle and The Witness are the two best games of the generation for me. I love them both. They're each completely different from each other, and yet remarkably similar in their themes and execution, but the puzzles themselves are not even remotely similar. I found both games to be mindblowing and impressive, not to mention lots of fun. I give extra credit to The Witness for having quite possibly the most impeccably designed game world in the history of gaming, the secret puzzles and visual metaphors embedded into the environments were just astounding and I can't even imagine how difficult it must have been to build and design this game! Talos Principle, of course, was from 2015 (actually 2014 on PC), so it wasn't eligible for game of the year 2016, thus it's not on my top 3 list above.

even though its not out yet ima say final fantasy xv wins followed by uncharted 4

Just preordered my deluxe edition today my god is that steelbook beautiful. I think 15 is going to be a really good game and put final fantasy back into positive light but I can't see it being better than uc 4.

Fiewatch a goty contender?????I swear some people give these indie games a pass,firewatch is a dead game.All these other games play it safe.The Witness is the front runner imo.

Uc 4 without a doubt it's so far the game that's the most complete package this year. I would probably put inside in the second spot and Odin sphere to round out my top three.

Just because you don't like it or suck at it doesn't mean it's trash. One persons opinion isn't the be all end all we have to look at general consensus so when we do that we see it has a active player base, steady support and was generally liked by most critics so that to go along with its sp which is better than any released this year so far, top notch graphics, tight controls,fun game play and value of the package as a whole makes it the most complete package so far this year. Feel free to disagree I respect it but the facts don't lie

The single player is very good but plays it way too safe,a jump rope isn't good enough,but a complete package means the whole game.And UC4's sorry excuse for a mp prevents it from being goty imo.
The witness is the true deserving goty,and no man's sky might if it lives up to the hype.
