why can't i customize what apps and in what order they come up in the quick menu on xbox one? I want twitch and the game dvr, to always be the top two, but No, I have to scroll past apps i haven't used in months, to get to what i want.
One of my biggest problems with xbox one is the lack of any real settings customization.

XMarkstheSpot2830d ago

Does it matter when you can PIN them to the home screen as one and two. One RT pull and ur there, its quicker

gninja922828d ago (Edited 2828d ago )

yes it does, i need that stuff on the fly when im gaming.

i can't go to the home page every time i have a cool moment.
what's so hard to understand?

Don't say "multitask and future-proof" when you are not even "present-day-proof"

XMarkstheSpot2828d ago

Youre comlaining about 1-3 button/stick clicks/movements by PIN which any menu you go to anywhere requires probably equal or more moves with a contoller, its not instant unless you use voice. Its pretty quick. To each their own **Did not mean to agree**

Also the excuse they have "requires developers to implement it" this was sony's pathetic excuse for how custom music would work on the PS3" As someone who had a ps3 since 2008 i was very disappointed to find that in over 100 titles I played only Warhawk (remember that old ass game) and Killzone 2's multiplayer segment allowed for custom music.

Why would developers waste time implementing and resources and money on implementing a software feature that MS needs to do themselves. ??

This new xbox one is in many ways the 2016 edition of the PS3

donthate2830d ago

The difference between MS and Sony in this is the developer. When MS needs developer to support it, it means app devs to implement their services onto the new API (just patch the existing app) and it applies to all and I repeat ALL games.

Sony's implementation was hacked, and basically their solution was game devs have to do it themselves on each game. Which makes no sense and completely idiotic!

gninja922828d ago

okay. i see what you mean.

but shouldn't it still be like part of the xbox OS or something like that?

donthate2827d ago (Edited 2827d ago )

gninja:

MS doesn't meddle with how third parties decide to allow their content to be used in what manner. Some might be okay with you playing it in the background, and some may not for whatever business reasons. That means the app creator themselves must implement it explicitly.

That said, the feature will be there soon. Now go hassle whoever you want to support this feature to JUST DO IT!!! :D

Used to love this one, but X-Men Legends 1 and 2 will always be my favorites, especially Rise of Apocalypse. Would pay some good money to play it today with online multiplayer, back then I had no way to get a modem

RavenWolfx5m ago

Yeah, I loved the Legends games so much.

ZeekQuattro7h ago

I remember buying them dirt cheap on the PS4 and then a few days later I read they were delisted. I was wondering why the bundle was price so low and got my answer when that happened.

Knightofelemia5h ago(Edited 5h ago)

Sad to say this is one game franchise next to the Xmen that needs a sequel. I use to play the hell out of Xmen Legends and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Was great when my cousin had the OG Xbox play with four other people and then playing online. Great games glad to see it reappear even though I own the discs love the mechanics of this game.

Terry_B5h ago

It got a sequel..but for dumbass #reasons as a switch exclusive.

shinoff21835h ago

It looked so horrible to. They should've kept it similar to the first two.

Asplundh5h ago

Because Nintendo funded it, they did the same for Bayonetta.

Knightofelemia4h ago

I totally forgot about the Switch sequel.

jukins5h ago

Misleading. This page is whats available for people who owned the game prior to delisting.

Abnor_Mal4h ago

The first game was the best imo.

There's a reason they're called 'gods' and not 'regular people'. It's nice they've diversified even more but gods looking godly wasn't exactly a glaring issue with the first game.

Juancho518h ago

Hey! Gods suffer from obesity and diabetes too!

Blastoise8h ago

This is the dumbest article I've read in a long time.

Michiel19898h ago

No one had an issue with that besides a very select group of people that try to push their own agenda.

Crows907h ago

Exactly. Not even sure they're necessarily committing to body diversity either.

The designs look fine not stupid.

Inverno6h ago

The writer of the this article clearly doesn't know what a real god looks like and has never seen them /s

Tody_ZA6h ago

Thanks for bringing up a bunch of garbage thoughts that never crossed my mind when playing the first game because I was too busy playing the game to worry about the portrayal of the physical bodies of gods.

Foolish me, when I read the title I thought we were talking about game mechanics.

Piss off, honestly, with this asinine bottom of the barrel try-hard-to-be-relevant trash.
