I think Microsoft and other game publishers are letting people go because they think ai will replace them. Doesn’t matter how much profit they make. They were always going to be let go.
Bethesda France was made up of roughly 15 people... they couldn't of being doing much

I wonder if this is part of Microsoft's strategy to abandoned physical media or possibly gamepass advertising makes their roles redundant you don't need to market a game as hard when the majority of players get the game as part of a sub which already promoted upcoming games
It's France too, there's a high likelihood only 1-2 people on the team even had an Xbox.
Tbh Microsoft I think Bethesda being 3rd party same with Activision would probably more competitive than thus scenario imo

The recently purchased Activision French offices might take over all the licensing and marketing for Microsoft in France from now on.
I can't even remember the last time I use my Wii U I'm an old-school gamer with love for Nintendo even though I was a Sega guy and I still would be if they drop a new system but I have to say I have no interest in the NX that gives me mixed emotions as I feel I should support them because they're old school but after the Wii U I'm not sure if I will
I truly hope so, because that would indicate native BC, at the most, and off-TV play at the least, which I highly value during visits with relatives that only have one TV and don't like sharing it.XD
I wouldn't be too surprised if they decided to avoid BC on the NX to cut costs mainly because that cart rumor just keeps coming back making it seem like it could be a reality where as other rumors have been debunked. Plus if the Wii U, PS4 and One are any indications I'm sure the NX will be full of remasters . In this case it will be Wii U remasters of games like Smash Bros IV., MK 8 or Splatoon.
