Xbox One Free Games: Final Fantasy 13, Dead Rising 3, Halo Wars?

Xbox One gamers are in for a new loot this mid-July with Xbox One free games. Or at least those with Xbox gamers with Gold membership. Xbox One Gold member

I'd be set for Dead Rising 3. Final Fantasy can be found for ~$5-10 anywhere plus anyone who has wanted to play it already did. And Halo Wars makes sense since the other ones are remastered or already on BC. It's a welcomed list but doesn't have a much star power as, say, April did; or maybe even June.

I don't know; this article seems to be heavily relying on the fact that newer games in the series listed are on the way as the excuse of why they'll be coming to GWG. Personally, I don't believe the list and the fact that the artlcle called Super Meat Boy "Super Meatbox" only adds to my doubts.

Isn't the original Halo Wars a pre order incentive for Halo Wars 2? Seems weird that they'd give it out for free to everyone as well...kinda negates the entire idea of the preorder incentive, especially when it is being given out only a month after the preorder announcement. If it is true they will be kinda shooting themselves in the foot if they want pre orders

DR3 & FF would both be good moves though if they pan out. Great little lineup of games there for sure.

FFXIII is a underrated game that got way too much undeserved hate. That being said, I won't be playing it, cus I already beat it. I hope they bring XIII-2 to BC cuz I still own my copy and I never got a chance to finish the game.

I doubt Square would want to reaquaint fans with-- or introduce to new prospective buyers-- the poorly received FFXIII just to help sell FFXV. It's a decent enough game though if you ignore its linearity and departure from the series' roots.

Personally I think Halo Wars will be in games with gold, soon, if not in July.

If this is True I got dead Rising with my Launch Xbox One, Final Fantasy 13 is the worst FF ever and I've already beat it, and my savior of the list, Halo Wars, would be my only new experience. Decent list for first timers for all this but I'd rather have the other list. More things I haven't played.
