Richard Leadbetter of Eurogamer feels the PS4 NEO will be out by the end of the year, but TNT thinks otherwise.
Games Asylum: "Well, this is neat. As the name suggests, Wrath of the Mutants is the rarest of things – a genuine arcade conversion. With most modern arcade games being ticket redemption machines, this is something seldom seen. In fact, the last arcade conversion we can recall was Raw Thrill’s own Cruis’n’ Blast on Switch back in 2021. This is also based on an older iteration of TMNT, harking back to the series from 2012-2017. It’s essentially breaking franchise continuity (we’ve had two different iterations of the Turtles since) and could even be considered nostalgic for a select few – those who grew up with 2012’s Turtles are probably in their late teens."
Year 9 in Rainbow Six Siege brings Deimos, ACOG sights with new grips, and an interesting roadmap for the upcoming seasons.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is a love letter for all Suikoden fans; it embraces the classic essence and doesn't succumb to modernity.
Sony are in a difficult position here no way can they compete against the Scorpio with their rumored specs of the neo. The positives Sony has are the games, cheaper console and the year head start if they can keep producing great games then they should do well.
The Scorpio if it's priced right will sell very well due to it being the most powerful console ever and thats what people want like everything in life big house fast car etc.
Now all Microsoft has to do is keep the games coming show what the Scorpio is capable of and it really needs some Scorpio only exclusives not on pc platform then they should do well.
Sony can gain a lot of momentum with the Neo if they get a headstart but that means that they will be completely outclassed in terms of specs.
One of the biggest factors in Sony's ball park is the price point (if the rumoured $400 price tag is true). Because Scropio will probably be around $600.
It's really going to come down to games. MS needs to show games that make it a must have. Sony right now has a lot of momentum with good exclusives and to counter that MS is going to a big "WOW" moment to kick start it.
Most people have a playstation for gaming so 4k video is just a bonus
Gaming is the main reason for a hardware upgrade (60fps at 1080p and an improved vr experience)
