Microsoft Game Marketing Head Aaron Greenberg talked about a variety of topics, including the announcement of Xbox One Scorpio, Kinect, Japanese games and more.
CGM Writes: While we were over at PAX East, we were able to sit down with Goichi Suda (Suda51) and talk about the upcoming remaster of Shadows of the Damned

Turned based Phantasy Star and Shinning Force remain at the top of my list of Sega IPs that need to return. At the very least I'd take a Shining Force collection that has 1,2,3, CD and the Game Gear entries.
I don't trust Sega to do a proper comeback. The games will be just remastered and/or monetized to death.
Former Blizzard president Mike Ybarra recently suggested an interesting concept that has sparked a debate among gamers - the idea of being able to tip developers after completing a game.
If I had a 100% way to be sure that this money would go to a fund or a reserve dedicated only to the guys who develop the games, be them designers, artists, programmers and so on, I could think about it.
But we all know that this 'tip' would only end up in a publisher's CEO pocket to buy a new yacht, so, no, I ain't tipping anyone anytime soon on this industry
So they eventually don't pay their workers and depend on our tips to pay them like the case with waiters!
Is this a joke? How about the big wigs giving up some of their pay for their hard working developers.
Well he is pretty well spot on. Well said.
But EA/Ubisoft Activision who have barely given up on last gen are gonna move on just to this top end Xbox sure some will but no way are EA who have barely started doing proper current gen games gonna drop 40 million PlayStation users and 20 million Xbox users for the few million that will get this top end Xbox... It's cool it's the most powerful but think it's gonna be out their on its own... Bit like when the Cell chip came out sure it wasn't a generation leap on the competition but as was so hard to develop for gets ignored...by the yearly churn types... Hey ho we'll see but with 3-4 new consoles due in the next 12-15 months and VR gonna be expensive times. NX is day one for me everything else is still up for debate.. Got a VR ordered tho just incase ;)
unlike nintendo who announced the nx years in advance microsoft wants to get the word out there to developers and let them know what they are working on. while also allowing the system to scale with the xbox one and be backwards compatable. meanwhile nintendo keeps everything shrouded in secrecy and when the system comes out third party are not ready. all while consumers are left baffled what it is while they release little support for the wii u.
Its a shame it even needed to be explained...
