$50 LMAO. That's ****ing ridiculous. **** you SE and your moronic pricing.

cash_longfellow2878d ago

How is that moronic? I missed it on ps2 and it seems more than fair to me.

Pancit_Canton2878d ago (Edited 2878d ago )

Did you see the pricing on Dark Cloud 2, Rogue Galaxy and Wild Arms 3? All of them are $15 each. I'm expecting a similar pricing due to the fact that they all from the same generation of games. All of them have the same amount of "enhancement" or HD treatment, trophy support and other features. Maybe, If they price this for $20 I can understand due to it's physical release, but for $50? Hell no.

cash_longfellow2878d ago

Those aren't remasters though...nor are they physical releases. There is a lot of work that goes into a remaster...not to mention, this version has a lot of translation changes because it never released outside of Japan.

Eidolon2878d ago

I'd prefer the $11-15 for a PS4 emulated version.

Cryptcuzz2878d ago

I never finished it on the PS2, so I am quite excited from this game getting a remaster.
So with me having a job and I find that it is enough value for me to invest $50 into playing this game with all the enhancements, then that is not moronic pricing at all.

phoenixwing2878d ago (Edited 2878d ago )

i have it pre-ordered. Came to 42 dollars and some change with amazon prime. I never got to play this game. I owned a dreamcast instead of a ps2 growing up. So I consider it worth it to pay the money for.

I absolutely love this game! You have to ensure you don't have a mindset of your average JRPG in terms of battle system when going into it, and like a story that revolves around a "world" plot rather than character plot, but I loved everything about it. I'm pumped to see we get the expanded version, but I'm bummed I don't get to play it on my Vita. Would buy that in a heartbeat! But I certainly won't complain about a PC/PS4 version of the extended edition. I'm a bit surprised that a single game is going for $50, I'd have expected $40. The content of the game is certainly worth it, but it doesn't seem to fit industry pricing.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy it even half as much as I did. Tough call, but I think it's my favorite entry of the series.

A little pricey but the price will drop after a few weeks / months. I'll pick it up once it's around the $30 range.

I'm glad Nioh got some love, but I think Nioh 2 should be there too, an even more polished game imho. :)

The graphics of 2015’s Bloodborne do not hold up. This game needs a remaster.

shinoff2183673d ago

I personally dont think ff10 is the best ff on there and bloodborne imo is the best rpg on there. I guess i still prefer my jrpg to be turn based and not action rpgs.
