Aww man.. I already deleted the Closed Beta client to clear up space on my hard drive. Arrggh, it means I have to go through the dilema again of what game to delete to make more space. I sooo need to invest in a 1TB HDD, especially for when The Division gets released.

By-the-way, anyone know why, when I have 10GB free, and want to download a game that's 5GB, I still get an error message saying "Not enough space on the HardDrive"! Why doesn't the PS4 re-allocate the extra HDD space???

2pacalypsenow2997d ago

Not sure but I think it needs space to download the game to and then install it, that's how the Ps3 worked not 100% on the Ps4 tho.

n4rc2997d ago

I'd assume.. Works that way everywhere else.. Compressed data + uncompressed.. Then it can delete the compressed data but it will need all that room for at least a second or two

Docknoss2997d ago

I bought one a 1tb HD for my Xbox one. It's worked like a gem, I have so much space its ridiculous.

Anomander2997d ago

I have 2TB and it is 63% full already.

MasterD9192997d ago

I have an internal 500 gig + a 1 tb hooked up and I'm still at about 50% left capacity. These games and their updates are huge. I'll need another external drive before I know it.

n4rc2997d ago

picked up a 3tb on sale.. think im around 30% used

UnHoly_One2996d ago

I have a total of 9 GB on my XB1 and it's something like 19% full, and I've deleted a few games I didn't care for enough to ever play again.

I'll fill it all and need more before it's all said and done, I bet.

As n4rc said it needs more space to decompress and install the files than the advertised download size states.

Lostbytes2996d ago

Its file storage overhead, ALL systems have it , the PS just does not hide it.

WAHOO I was just about to delete mine this morning but I decided to hold on to it to make sure. Glad I did.

DafunkyRebel2997d ago

It is going to be the same thing as the close beta or if they will add new areas cause I don't want to redownload just for the same thing again

Majin-vegeta2997d ago

Theres going to be a new story mission. As far as I know.

Eldyraen2997d ago

New story mission and unlocks the turret when you finish it.

Some DZ changes as well from what I read according to someone's patch notes (faster respawn for ai enemies and slight buff to them).

dms52232996d ago

There will be a new wing in your base of operations available, which correlates to a new story mission and thus new enemies we haven't encountered yet. New high level weapons available in the dark zone and TONS of fixes that were discovered in the closed beta.

The developers are really on it. I recommend going to the division Reddit and reading all the patch notes if you really want to know everything.

Knuckle Duster2997d ago

I really enjoyed The closed beta. Therefore the open beta really doesn't mean much to me I'm ready to go with the full game

I am in absolute agreement with the OP 👌

I hate when I see single player games and see people begging for multi-player. Jeez guys it don't need to be on every game. Latest one I seen was atomic heart.

Multiplayer or even co-op

If it was always a single player game then that's how it is

Inverno382d ago

It's a trend that never really went away. For me multiplayer in a primarily SP focused game was an excuse for DLC. Then there's the mentality gamers had that adding multiplayer makes a game worth the price, otherwise it should be half price for half a game. A way of thinking devs reassured when they started adding multiplayer to their sequels. We see the same with multiplayer focused games getting SP in their sequels.

Flawlessmic382d ago

Tbh multilayer now is a way to add live service and mtx elements, very rarely does it come of well.

What single players game used to be in a lot of cases now require 3 other people for keeping to really enjoy it and I hate having to rely on others to get the maximum from a game.

Sp should be sp, if devs want to add a separate multi mode then that's fine with me, the legends addition to ghost of tshushima was fricking sick but totally separate to the main game. Sick of co op too.

Hofstaderman382d ago

I remember when certain single player games had them as included optional modes that was played on the couch. Had brilliant times with Syphon Filter and Golden Eye. Me and my bro used to used to fight over who would play as Gabe even though it was technically just a skin. Good times.

Dagexon381d ago

I didn't notice your comment before I added mine.
But good times indeed
