Um they didn't deliver a complete product...

They charged $60 for a game worth $30 of content.

So yea...id say they didnt live up to their promise.

On top of slapping a $50 season pass.

Multiple gameplay modes, multiple maps for each, new gameplay modes and maps given for free as well, and huge attention to detail. Does not define shallow. BF 4. A product so buggy and unstable that it took them almost a year to fully patch. Great idea.

It had more content than Titanfall and I did not hear the outrage over that? There is more variety and gameplay options than many games that can be completed in 6hrs that charge $59.99. I do not remember them saying oh you will have an expansive solo campaign and such. If they had 3 gameplay modes with only a couple maps that is valid, but there is more and they have given more for free. It is also stable unlike many other releases of late.

Multiplayer only game with 5 maps is pathetic. Just gets boring especially when there is little depth to the game. I'll get the complete edition next summer for $30. All they had to do was modernize Battlefront 2 and you have a gem.

I'd say more low on maps than anything else. I mean there are 9 game modes. It is a shame that there isn't a campaign though. It's been a blast to play it so far. Had some amazing laugh out loud moments!
