Destiny has made over $160 million in MTX revenue, and these numbers only account the data from late 2017 to early 2019.
That's extremely low for microtransactions, especially for a game that's essentially designed around it
For as much as ppl complain how much they hate microtransactions, they sure don’t act like it. No wonder they aren’t going anywhere.
In Episode 1 of Spot On, a new weekly news show, Gamespot talks about the dangers of chasing a trend.
Playing Destiny 1 on PC has been something fans have been requesting for years. It looks like Destiny 1 is now playable on PC via the RPCS3 emulator.
Should you continue playing Destiny?
Why should anyone play Destiny anyway when there are so many better games out there?
I enjoyed Destiny for a time. Then I went away for almost a year and came back and spent more money... I can fairly say that I won't be playing Destiny anymore and I won't be involved with Destiny 2. I really wanted this brand to wow me but aside from the lead up hype prior to release there's not much to be excited about over the past few years of this thing.
There are so many great games out there and so many on the way. Why spend my time on an infinite grind?
Every game runs it's course and then we move on to other things. It was a lot of fun while it lasted but why would I continually do the same repetitive things when I have Unravel, Street Fighter, Far Cry, Division, Hitman, Dark Souls, Uncharted all due out in the next 2-3 months?
excellent game that has ran its course now...
i wont be get ting the sequel as its dlc lockout heavy. plus all dlc in taken king retail should be on disc its not therefore has no collectability or resale value. in fact one of the reasons of physical is goty edition etc are collectable where as destiny isnt so i have 0 reason to hang on to it.
il never buy bollocks like that again ie goty editions etc where all addons are via code via store
In a day in age with so many great games, this is moderate at best and thats being nice. Repetitive.....which in some games is okay. Just not this one. I'd rather play Halo 5 than this, and I can't stand Halo.
