It's No Surprise At All That PS4 'Battlefront' Players Dwarf Xbox One And PC Combined

Based on player tracking stats from P-stats.com, they said that PS4 had more Star Wars: Battlefront players than Xbox One and PC combined.

Huh? How is that inflammatory? I'm just saying that Halo on PS4 would have caused some dents in Battlefront sales that's all. I know loads of people who haven't bought Battlefront because they are playing Halo instead.

Not really septic. I've got both systems along with battlefront and halo but I spend the majority of my online time on battlefront.

Septic I think you are spot on. I mean no offense to the Sony loyalist with what I am about to say, but it is not just Halo 5 we have Gears of War, Halo MCC and Titanfall, plus Ghost, Advance Warfare and Blackops 3, Destiny and Battlefront all these games combined are taking players attention away from Fully playing Battlefront. You add in EA Access games and you can see that once the hype dies down gamers are spread out playing a large amout of mp games. So while PS players are enjoying Battlefront and they have other options the options of MP based games on Xbox One outweighs anything PS4 offers. Hence a factor as to why the PS4 community gravitates toward the slim pickings they have.

Personally, I am enjoying Gears of War King of the Hill, Halo 5 Warzone and Big team player and Call of Duty Black Ops 3 on the MP side.

All those games you mentioned has nothing to do with how it effects Battlefront sales on the Xbox one. Septic is pointing out that due to the similar released window of Battlefront and Halo 5, it may have affect battlefront sales numbers on the X1. Dont forget, Fallout 4 was also released near the same time.
I think the additional factor is that Battlefront is something new to everyone. Halo 5 is a series that people maybe getting bored of.

PS4 has more multiplayer games (by way of having more games full stop) than Xbox One, ya sponge. The fact you don't know this is astonishing.

The last time MS was "upfront" about their sales, was over a year ago, when they said that they would shortly have shipped 10 million units to stores. At that point (and we know MS is clever with their wording) it could have been anywhere from 7-9 million shipped. And since then... nothing. 15 million units sold through at this point is certainly possible, but we probably won't hear anything until they hit 20 million, if at all considering they are no longer using sales as a metric to boast success.

I have this game on the PC and was gifted the game for the PS4 and there's truth to this. Even though the PC version looks amazing and runs at a silky smooth 60 FPS without any issue, the game just plays better on a gamepad.

Get a pad for your PC, My gaming rig is plugged into my lounge TV, so using a M/KB is outta the question, i use a DS4 controller with a little programme called DS4Windows.

I get it, on PS4 there's no blockbuster exclusive FPS like Halo so it's only natural to make do with whatever is available there..

I'd be shocked if battlefront had sold better on Xbox...
