Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. today announced that the PlayStation 4 has cumulatively sold through more than 30.2 million units worldwide as of November 22.
Plenty of unforgettable games have completely messed up their players throughout the years, all the way back from the PS1 days to the dark recesses of the modern internet.
Games such as Mad Max, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Batman: Arkham Knight desperately deserve a modern-day revisit.
"Hammerwatch II's journey to Xbox has been long and perilous. After first launching on Steam in the fall of 2023, the game finally turned up on PlayStation 5 last December. Since then, Xbox gamers who enjoyed the original Hammerwatch and the sublime Heroes of Hammerwatch have been anxiously awaiting their turn at the long-promised sequel. At last, the wait is nearly over because Hammerwatch II will hit Xbox and PlayStation 4 on April 23," says Co-Optimus.
WOW!
Wow, that's 15 million per year...
If they keep selling ps4's at this rate they'll be on track to sell 105 million units by the end of this gen (7 years)!
Wow, to put it into perspective, that's nearly the entire population of California.
It seems there is no stopping PS4.
Well done, Sony. Making a platform that has what consumers want is the way to go.
Just a little under 2 months after shipping 29 million. Not bad at all!
