I only bought it because of the PSN cashback promotion but I regret supporting this horrible business model. It's fun but it's definitely not worth 60 bucks.

I think the point he's trying to get at is that there is NO classic DeathStar trench run or battle over endor type space battles. Which (as I've said in a previous post) will probably be one of the DLC packs, for which EA, will be asking money for and IMO just wrong.

EVERYONE should boycott this, or at least get a refund.

They've hidden over 50% of the game behind a DLC paywall, it's disgusting.

And the only reason this will succeed, is because people will buy this game because of the name and that's it.

By the time they realize how shallow and boring the game is and are done with it, EA will have made their money and be laughing.

this game just lacks as a basic shooter to start with. no in game mic system,no clan support, no ladders, and 2 whole ppl cqn group together lol wow. sick to death of giving DICE qnother chance. after mirrors edge 2 ill never buy another game of theres.

Yeah because DICE always makes the best Campaigns... No loss at all having no SP considering the other 2 games didn't have a campaign either. Galactic Conquest is NOT a campaign it's just a MP map with bots on.

It's okay if you enjoy battlefield. Despite the claims by dice that's it's not a reskin of Battlefield. It definitely feels like one. I don't blame people for boycotting it. Especially considering the ultimate lack of content that they get for $60.
A Naughty Dog spokesperson or whoever said that gamers should pay for good content. I agree with that too. What we don't see is developers supplying that good content to pay for. In my opinion $60 for Battlefront is too much. It's online only and disappears once EA decides they don't want to keep the servers up.

I will boycott it just like I boycott all of EA's games and services. After the effect they have had destroying companies, milking gamers, repeating the same games with new tweaks and buying up licenses where they can monopolize and control what can be made or only by them, I have not looked back.

We all know EA could have made an awesome star wars game. But instead, they made a cash register to collect money.by again, buying a license.

Gamer's have cut EA some slack by eating those dangling carrots in their face like EA access. But I will never cut them slack as I have known their intentions for years.

The world is aware that as gamers way back when on the original Playstation we used to pay £50 just for a 10 hour single player game and that was it, no extras, no multiplayer, nothing. No one moaned or complained about it, just excepted it. As time as gone on not only as gamers do we expect to pay less for games but we also expect more for that money whereas devs overheads continue to increase meaning the business model has to reflect this.
A video games should be based on one thing, fun. It's the whole point of gaming, to have fun and thats how you should base the value of the game, not on what you get in the box but how much YOU get out of it.

NO ONE is forced to buy any game or any DLC.

I don't expect games to cost less, i expect to get a full game at launch. If you think stuff like DLC is extra content, then you are very naive. I would bet my house that if this was the PS2 days, or if DLC wasn't available on consoles, we would have every bit of DLC for this game available on the disc at launch.

i am disappointed that there was no campaign, but i find myself playing battles and survival quite a bit more then the multiplayer at the moment, i dont hate the online right now im just having fun playing vs the AI right now.

not really mad that there is no campaign as they did announce that from the start, so you knew that ahead of time.

Am i pissed that DLC is 49.99, yes who not be, but unfortunately thats the way AAA titles are now, so you can either suck it up or just dont buy it or play it.

Plus i think people are still comparing swbf way to much to swbf2. one thing people need to understand is that this is a reboot of the series with some stuff from the movie releasing next month otherwise it would have been called swbf3.

I wouldn't even consider my decision not to buy the game a boycott. I just flat out have no interest in mediocrity that has the majority of its content behind a paywall.

My decision to not buy the game is in my opinion, common sense. That said, those who do purchase it and enjoy it, then all the power to you, it is after all up to everyones decision. I only feel sorry for those who spend the money and then are angry about it.

If you're having fun, keep at it.

I would love this game to get boycotted, but its just not going to happen. I agree with many of players: its very good looking game with good music and many modes. And additionaly tons of DLCs. After beat not many has changed and sometimes its like playing BF4. There is no campaign and that one of worts decisions. I prefer to have a Sp and aditionaly MP with few but good modes. This is like to Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 will be.

omg the weapons are a joke. best weapon in the game is a pistol thqt can oneshot you from across the map and you unlock it when you hit lvl50 which i assume is the max lvl (until the dlc of course) and about 1/3 of the players are using it now which means they are max lvl. wtf what kinda rank pacing is that shit??? the game hasnt been out a week. lol what a fucking joke
