Good god! Are those jeans or yoga pants?!?!

WelkinCole3090d ago

Huh?. She is not underage man.

nveenio3089d ago

I feel like the title of this video should be, "Nerds Watch Girl Show Belly Button while Demoing PSVR." Seriously, this video is nothing more entertaining than the one where people are doing a demo of The Walk.

Just think about how future Pay Per View events will be sold with VR. When you can have front row seats at the next big UFC event but in the comfort of your house. Same thing for concerts, Football/NBA/Soccer games.... This VR thing is going places, and not just in the realm of video games.

stuna13090d ago (Edited 3090d ago )

Yeah I can see that, but here's 1 for you; Imagine VR evolving to the point where you could actually be the main character in a movie you are watching!? I think as the tech is refined and perfected it will become possible.

@thejigisup

Actually I'm not describing video games, I'm not talking about being able to change the direction of the movie, I'm talking about playing the role of the main character from their perspective. Not effecting the outcome or changing how the movie plays out. Most movies have 1st as well as 3rd person views of the action in those 1st person shots you can in essence be that person.

thejigisup3090d ago

You're describing video games...

Name Last Name3090d ago

@stuna1
I don't think it will work well. It would be confusing and maybe dizzying to watch through the protagonists eyes while he runs ands looks everywhere and does things different than you would.

Null3090d ago

You just basically described video games

thejigisup3090d ago

VR is new ready to next the next big thing. Can't wait to experience This new wave

joeorc3090d ago

exactly!, the front row seat would be from like the players & ref's position, not looking in but your centered remotely from that position looking outward around. instead of looking from a farawar position to that center pointof position.

specialguest3090d ago

Not just front seat row. It's possible to be inside the ring if they mount a 360 cam there.

MasterCornholio3090d ago (Edited 3090d ago )

Being virtually in a stadium from the comfort of your home.

No overpriced drinks
No need to worry about rain
No need to worry about people bothering you directly
No overpriced snacks
Best seat in the house without having to pay the premium for it.
No need for transportation
No need to worry about parking and how much it costs.

Dang I really like the sound of this.

DLConspiracy3090d ago

Prepare for never leaving our houses and never experiencing life again? That could be a bad thing.

3090d ago
kenwonobi3090d ago

Very smart thinking. Future applications are far beyond gaming. Super bowl 50 yards line in Virtual Reality broadcast live?

xxCaveman_88xx3089d ago

What if they mounted cameras in the quarterback's helmet so you could see the game from his perspective.

benji1013089d ago (Edited 3089d ago )

There is a thing called atmosphere that cannot be faked... but keep imagining.. Most great events people go to have stories of how they got there, who they saw, the feeling of being part of a crowd experience a one off performance..None of that will ever be in VR. But i am sure marketing guys will sell you like it is. Swimming with a shark is not the same as having a vr headset on, your brain knows the water is not cold, the threat is not real, even if you are one of the people who take lsd and believe you can actually fly vr is not the same as being in a real situation. Real situation have a real sense of danger.

benji1013089d ago (Edited 3089d ago )

Downvote me if you think living in your basement will replace going to see a rock concert or actually doing exciting things.. like having sex with real women.. VR will be a success and people like me will get even more chances to have real exciting experiences as you hikikomori losers fall further and further into the sad state of better than life games.

They should have let her play The Kitchen demo.

ABizzel13090d ago

Then she has to sit down..... Much better standing.

Lionsguard3089d ago

I wasn't trying to be. There is such a thing as The Kitchen Demo. Search it up.

Lionsguard3089d ago

For anyone thinking this was a sexist joke, it's not. There actually IS a thing called the "The Kitchen demo" and it's not what you think it is.

mariopasta33d ago

I can finally watch pron, I mean watch pronouns be pronounced in PC VR games that were previously not available on Playstation.

crazyCoconuts33d ago

be careful not to sprain your... tongue pronouncing those pronouns

Profchaos33d ago

I'm excited for that to plus I can try fallout 4 VR always wanted to play that

crazyCoconuts33d ago

I was lucky and held off on 4 until I played it in VR. It really is pretty awesome - you'll love it.

DaReapa33d ago

The icing on the cake would be if Sony / Valve allow for a Steam Link app much like it is for the Quest 3. Likely wishful thinking, though.
