Xbox Head Phil Spencer made headlines this week where in an interview with VideoGamer, he admitted that he was uncertain if the Xbox One will ever catch up to the PS4 this console generation.
In truth, this is just reality catching up with him. Looking at the numbers and the overall trajectory of this console race, despite that fact that we’re only two years in, it seems as if it’s almost impossible that Xbox One will ever be able to catch PS4.

The benefits thus far has been mainly exclusive content/dlc and street fighter exclusivity. Still hasn't stopped XO securing a deal like Rise of the Tom Raider..
What does the company with the most market share do for me as a gamer? I still need other platforms to play other games like Halo, Zelda, XCOM 2...

So, why should I be concerned that one console isn't selling as well as the other?
