Personally I dont see the problem with adverts on the homepage. Steam does this and I love them for it. There may be a sale or new release that squeaks by unnoticed. Especially indy gems.

No big deal. Some folk would have you believe xb1 is full of ads. It isn't. You get a few, but they're fine. On my xb1 right now there's one very small honda add, which is optional. The rest is games, twitch and suggested friends, and the weekly major nelson video.
