Sony Announces Tokyo Game Show 2015 PS4 and PS Vita Game Line-up, Shows Off its Booth

Sony Computer Entertainment announced today with a press release the line-up of playable games that will be available at Tokyo Game Show, for a total of 19 titles.

Japan is awesome. Having lived there for 1 year, I really came to love and appreciate their culture so much more. My house mate is heading there in a few weeks for vacation. He'll miss TGGS This year sadly. But Next year we are definately going

Me too :D Don't be terrified. TGS is actually quite a bit less chaotic and intimidating than Gamescom, for instance.

God Eater is a game adapted to anime bro, the gameplay is similar to Monster Hunter

The God Eater games were like Monster Hunter, but the ammo creation system was amazing. You can find some youtube videos of all the different ammo types you can make.

Uncharted 4 wasn't playable at E3 and Gamescom. It would be very uncharacteristic for it to be playable at a Japan-centric show like TGS.

i wanna see updates on Nier 2, Kingdom Hearts 3, and FF15 at the press conference, as well as updates from the Last Gaurdian, and Hot Shots Golf for PS4. I want to see the new Level-5 RPG and the 2 new games from Sony Japan, I'm hearing that one of them will be Gravity Rush 2 for PS4 and the other is likely Gran Tourismo 7 and ofcoure the announcement date for Bloodborne DLC.

And people like to say Sony cares about Vita in Japan. Pathetic. They deserve the 66% contraction in hardware sales they're getting in that market. From 30 million units across PSP/PS3 to 10 million on PSV/PS4 all because they felt home consoles were the better investment in the one market that doesn't care about them.

Today the Japanese Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association released the line-up of announced titles that will appear at Tokyo Game Show.

This lets us give a look at which platforms will be prominently featured at the show.

Looking at consoles, PS4 is firmly at the top, with 44 games, followed by the PS Vita with 33 and the PS3 with 28. Interestingly, the list does not include Sony’s games that were also announced today, meaning that the real numbers for Sony’s console are actually higher.

So let me get this straight, you are saying Sony does not care about the PSVita, because a game is not made by Sony 1st party?

What would that very same thing apply to Apple because they do not make games for its own iPhone?

Here is the thing, you and others seem to be overlooking, the fact of the matter is this the cost in development resources, and costs are just as much to make a single AAA game for the PSVita than it is for the PS3!

There is a grand total of 8000 playstation employee's!

With studio's that can take 100's at a time to create 1single game.

And again , the PSVita is not cheap to develop for with AAA games, so the fact of remote play + offline local LAN with the ability to take a PS4 game and stream it to a PSVita, Sony no doubt see's that as a more cost effective method for its 1st party.

North American market, and as you stated Sony does not care "about Japan" even though Sony just invested into colored plastic for the molds to vacuum form the new PSVita color's colored plastic that you vacuum form cost more than just white or black plastics.

Lmao, you do know that the hardware cost is razor thin in margins on the PSVita as a matter of fact Sony just broke even only recently on it because it was going to take 3years to do So.

Its to increase install base. Where do you think some of the development teams for the PS3 will shift to after the PS3 is done? That's right the PS4, where as remote play and local land along with Adhoc allows players to get AAA games to play from Sony 1st party onto the PSVita.

The fact its getting games from more Japanese development studios is a good thing , because the PSVita could have ended up like the PSPGo, and at this point I really do not expect Sony to release another dedicated game handheld any more for the west, if any thing maybe even in the east majority of your third party development studios and publishers are pretty much going to smartphones.

So as Sony may just put out a smart phone with a dual shock game pad support and use Android with PlayStation services.

It will serve the market better if Sony did that and just concentrate on living room console's.
