Tearaway Unfolded is September 8th, a week and a half.

Both Tearaway Unfolded and Nathan Drake Collection are Day 1's for me.

I am most excited about Drake's Fortune, it has personally always been my favorite and it will be the most drastically improved. The Collection is looking awesome.

You should really have another look. I'm surprised, it actually looks way better than I thought it would.

The texture detail, the draw distance, the environmental effects. He said they took the cinematic model from the original games and used it as the main model in game, as well as improving it further.

The gameplay was balanced to give a more consistent feel through the three games trying to get the best shooting mechanics they could.

This is not a simple up rez like some are trying to claim. This is the best possible way you can play three amazing games which were benchmarks in their time.

You can see a difference but this vid is in 720p and the game is in 1080p. These give you some idea of the improvements. By no means perfect, but at least something:

I own all 3 Uncharteds for my PS3. I don't like having to pay top price for games I already own while having less content then their last gen counterparts.

No multiplayer, 3D stripped away from Uncharted 3.

Sorry but going from 720p to 1080p just isn't enough for me to have to pay again for this collection.

I am also a shamed of Sony who chose to copy MS's "The Master Chief Collection" title rather than having the originality of naming it "The Uncharted Collection" which would have been such a better name for this collection.

Maybe when it's in the used games bin I will pick it up really cheap just to have as apart of my PS4 collection.

It's called 'The Nathan Drake' collection because ND have said it's his last game. It leaves the Uncharted franchise open for another character in the future if they decide to make more Uncharted games.

It's not just a resolution boost, it has changed geometry, added detail, better AA, better character models, higher framerates, improved game mechanics, and a few other things I'll probably remember when I can no longer edit this post.

Multiplayer would have been pointless in my opinion because once people get their hands on the actual UC4 multiplayer they'll forget all about what they didn't get. Perhaps they'll even throw in some familiar maps too ...

3D? Who cares.

For me Uncharted was never about the multiplayer anyway, i preferred the story. I played all 3 Uncharted's back to back very late on and am still going to buy this on day 1.

A great series that deserved a remaster, many people will get to enjoy Uncharted who didn't experience it the first time around.

Also...do you really feel ashamed of Sony because of the name? The emotional ties you have to a marketing decision are quite surprising.

You are good lvl. But not that goof. All one has to do is go read your post history and it is one Sony complaint after another. There are only 2 or 3 remarks on your entire first page of comments that are not about Sony. All of the rest are Sony related and complain, downplay, or dismiss Sony in some manner.

Transparency has bitten you in the backside. It is fairly obvious what you are doing is simply trolling every Sony article in which you comment. You try to act concerned but your true aim begins to show itself after the 5th or 6th negative Sony remark in a row.

So your comments on Uncharted have 0 value. That is ZERO because there isn't a shred of objectivity and real discussion isn't your aim. Everyone should realize what you are doing and stop replying as if you are in any way genuine in your remarks.

Even at $60, you are getting to play 3 uncharted campaigns remastered. That's $20 per game. How exactly is that top price. Now had they charged $60 per game and removed MP (only 2/3 had MP) I would have understood your frustration, but $60 for three excellent single player experiences is well worth it, especially for those that never played an uncharted game (which I assume is the primary demographic).

Umm the Nathan Drake Collection also improves to 60fps, from 720p 30fps to 1080p 60fps. They also improved and added new textures, improved dynamic lighting, balanced out gameplay, new assets particularly in U1, improved anti aliasing, improved character models.

If they really wanted to copy ms they would've called it The Master Thief Collection.

3D was only in the 3rd game and mp was only in 2 and 3. People play Uncharted primarily for the sp and with the Uncharted 4 mp beta people probably won't want to go back to the old mp anyway.

Can't wait for my 3 platinums, at least there won't be any mp trophies.

Have you had the chance to watch this footage on the YouTube app for the ps4? I've only been watching these on my tablet and the difference when you move to a big hd screen is just incredible. I highly suggest anyone who is watching this from a smallish screen to check it out on a big screen. It's just a huge leap, and to think that it only gets better from here as the compression will knock it down a few pegs. Does anyone know if ps4s YouTube app outputs in full 1080p or is it lower? Either way this should sell anyone on the fence wanting a bigger difference in visuals. Really can't wait to get my hands on this thing. I'm hoping that demo they mentioned drops soon and isn't one of those that drop when the game does, I'm already sold for a day 1 purchase, I just wanna get my hands on there personally ASAP.

This is just an amazing collection to have on hand. I kinda wish they just did some mp, maybe 8 of the best maps or something. But this is a must own for next gen.

I'm guessing vids don't do this enough justice. Gotta have in hand. They are saying it's better than TLOU remaster.

I think this remaster should knock that dated feel right off. The graphics are much improved, the controls will be brought in line w/ the others...everything else about the game still holds up for me. The amount of changes for that one has me the most pumped. If they touch the a.i. or smooth out the difficulty spikes as well, should give that game new life.

I think that occurred because Drake was stuck in an animation pushing that guy of the edge while another guy was standing in their space. A bit of a freak occurrence. These things happen in games I guess.

Can't count the times Iv'ed played/re-played the Uncharted series and every time I do it's always the same awe-inspiring experience as when I first bought them.

Great on NaughtyDog for making a complete 1-3 re-master for the PS4. Bloody hell(!!) the detail on the re-master is just astonishing!

I must admit I was hoping 3D was still an option but it doesn't appear to be as important to the entertainment industry as it did a few years ago...then again it just makes games far more difficult anyway.

Anybody tried playing COD Zombies in 3D? That's a surefire way of getting bitten to death in round 3 :D

I just find 3D seems to make gaming a little more difficult, thats all. For instance shooting at distance in Zombies was tough due to a blurred effect that you don't get in 2D.

if you take a look at digital foundry's comparison videos you can see that the ps3 version looks better,aside from the 60fps this "remaster" is a downgrade,it's a shame they're charging $60 and no multiplayer,what a rip off

They literally improved character models, did you see Drakes face from Uncharted 1 PS3 to Uncharted 1 PS4? It's vastly improved and remodeled.

They added and improved textures, added foliage, cloud cover, details to the environment. They improved lighting, anti aliasing, they balanced gameplay in the earlier games.

It's also going from 720p to 1080p. The PS4 Collection is 1080p which is always an upgrade from 720p, that alone makes it look better.

The Nathan Drake collection on PS4 looks far better and is quite beautiful.

1080p, 60 FPS is not a downgrade. You're trying way too hard, not to mention the character models and textures for all three games have been upgraded. 3 games for 60 dollars is a great deal, if you think otherwise, that's fine. But this game is anything but a "rip off."

Honestly tired of the "ALL 3D SUCKS" comments. I do not own a 3DTV nor will I be able to afford one for a long time (hopefully glasses-free 3D tech matures by that time) but are you guys telling me you wouldnt want a 3D 1080p 60FPS version of at least Uncharted 3? That has optional Morpheus compatibility as well? (the other games would need more work to put it in) Call me crazy but to me that would be way cooler and more immersive than gimmicky pointless 4K. and YES, I've seen 4K. PS I know this game doesnt run in 4K but im just saying that because that seems to be all you basic gamers want from the future of gaming..

Uncharted 1 was very good in it's first attempt.

Uncharted 2 was near perfect(not sure if any game could be perfect)

Uncharted 3 was very good, just expected more based on 2.

If you have never played them you are in for one of the best franchises ever made.

And a side note, slap yourself a few times in the face if you haven't played these before...
