In that case you should check out Teslagrad if you like 2D platformers with interessting puzzles. I have it on PC and it's a really great game.

I was hoping for Zombie Vikings instead, it's just more game than Grow home.

I am soo happy with the free games, i would've like ZV but it's a fantastic list regardless.

STFU and La Mulana are terrific games, especially with the additions of Sir Galahad, Journey, & Shu as playable characters in STFU. Every game looks good.

Agreed, indie or not, as I have said many times. A GOOD GAME IS A GOOD GAME!!!!

I love a good AAA game but also love a great Indie game, positives and negatives in everything. People can complain, oh yay more indies, or they can appreciate the QUALITY of the indies being offered.
Plus, when an amazing Indie is offered on Plus (pretty much every month), it's usually 4-5 hours long. The PERFECT length to play in between a 30 - 100+ hour AAA game. Win/Win. Glass half full and all that.

Another month, another batch of games to add to the back log. Not a bad thing at all.

Although I think Grow Home will be getting some playtime straight away, heard great things about it.
Also happy with Teslagrad, was going to grab it when it was on sale a few weeks ago, waiting has paid of this time.

I don't know, I just don't get how Playstation owners can complain about the quality, quantity and variety offered with PS Plus. It baffles me, but I'm a simple guy. Happy to receive games each month I may not have otherwise taken the opurtunity to play (no they are not 'free' we pay a subscription blah blah blah)

agreed. I don't know if I got so many disagrees because lots of people aren't happy with the offerings or if it is because I used the word indies in my comment.

A good game is a good game, regardless if says Nintendo, Naughty Dog or some small unknown independent developer.

I just love the platformers this month.

There were some truly great ones - rocket league, race the sun, stick it to the man, outlast, limbo, counterspy, etc. but others I just can't get into. I hated binding of Isaac, don't starve, never alone, and countless others that came out. I have very particular taste and I just chalk it up to different strokes for different folks. For example, I can sit on a hill in DayZ for an hour, just watching a town for signs of movement for something to shoot at but 2d platformers be damned! All comes down to personal preference. I never got into gaming until 3d games came out, and with the exception of only a few exceptional platformers, they just never struck my fancy, even as a young child. I've always craved realism but to each their own.

Oddly enough Xeodrifter and Teslagrad i've had my eye on for a while while La-Mulana is news to me yet am really liking what i see. Not a bad month, not a great month. Think I'm just going to accept there will likely be (mostly) indie games than full retail on PS+ (PS4). I like indie games anyway, the retro styled indies remind me of gaming back in the 90's ;)

But at least this way if we do get full price games it'll be a pleasant surprise....instead of feeling mild disappointment every time the line up is revealed. Sony could at least elect to feature their own titles, since PS+ could revive KZ MP, plus Knack & Infamous SS peaked in sales long ago.

I think it will be a more two pronged approach later on in the gen. Right now, they are trying to establish some comfort in the indie scene. Plus helps with that. At the same time, the available library of next gen games is smaller than it was when Plus launched on PS3. So, it is to be expected that we won't see too many AAA titles from 1st or 3rd parties. I just look at it as a benefit of having to pay for online (which I am not ecstatic about). What I DO like about Plus is the added discounts on flash sales and season passes.

...Well, it's not top tier stuff (never is anymore for Vita) but La Mulana EX is something I almost bought full price so I'm glad I dodged that bullet. The other Vita games seem acceptable as well. I can't complain this month, surprisingly.

Still, one decent month in a sea of spit Sony hurls in Vita PS+ users month after month is hardly worth mentioning.

I'm glad Sony are making it easy for me to decide whether or not to renew my Plus sub. Hopefully they bring Plus back to the high standards that it used to be on the PS3. It's a shame people just take whatever Sony give them and continue to pay for it just because it's mandatory for multilayer. It would be interesting to see how many people would pay for plus now if the multilayer was still free.

If indies are your thing, that's cool, but not everyone likes them. I've tried some and didn't care for them and neither did my friends. These things are made to play on phones and tablets, and chrome books, not a $400 console. I love seeing the comments that people who don't like indies or don't like the recent PS+ lineups aren't true gamers, like the opinion of someone that still lives in their mom's basement means anything to anyone.

While I do partially agree with you, the problem isn't necessarily the indie games. Games in any form are always welcomed. The issue is the balance of indie games and "regular games". Too much indie right now which is very backwards.
