August 2015 PSN Flash Sale Titles Revealed by PlayStation Store

As they do every month, Sony will be holding a Flash Sale through the PlayStation Store in North America, discounting various PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and PlayStation Portable games.

If you don't have Rogue Legacy, though, you should get it. One of my favorite roguelikes/metroidvanias.

Also: when did the Syberia games get ported to PS3?

Edit: I love how someone disagrees with a statement about what I'm personally interested in when I have Aaru’s Awakening, Mercenary Kings, Outlast, Rogue Legacy, Sportsfriends, Transistor and Guacamelee! all from PS+. heh

Yeah I'm really not blown away by this sale. Lots of fluff / trash in it (Sherlock Holmes, really???). Already have outlast / whistleblower, wolf among us and walking dead season 1 and the other free ps+ ones now for sale. Only one that I'll get is walking dead season 2.

That Sherlock game reviewed fairly well. It's a niche genre of gaming but at least it's a quality title.

Remember too save often. The Holmes games are great, but very buggy. It's not uncommon to hit a critical Quest bug and have to rollback to an earlier save to get by it.

That's quite a sweeping statement. There are so many and I've played some crappy ones. Lego batman 1 for 360 really didn't do much for me. But I've played a few others that were super cool.

It's a good list of games, but for people who have followed these sales for awhile will experience deja vu. Quite a few of the games have already been on PS+, so many of us already have them. And a number of the other games have been featured in other Flash Sales within the past few months. Maybe they're going to try again with an even lower price point this time. That might get me to pick up the Lego Movie game for PS4.

Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments is actually a really good game. I know it's not a sexy title and the subject matter isn't what the kids are into but it's an excellent mystery game.
