Good going Ninty,we need this and Devil'sThird/XenobladeX bundle....

Errefus3285d ago

would be better if it was limited edition console, it should not be expensive to change the color of the console

* Good place to market Splatoon.

Tons of Best buys, means tons of opportunity to have Splatoon on the shelves and been seen by people in real life, not just online.

OtakuDJK1NG-Rory3285d ago

Well if Japan got a bundle for Xenoblade we may as well

N4g_null3285d ago (Edited 3285d ago )

This is an amazing deal! If I didn't already have a Wii U, I would definitely get this. So stoked for Splatoon!

LAWSON723285d ago (Edited 3285d ago )

Not really an amazing deal, an okay deal but not amazing. It would maybe qualify as good if it came with a physical copy. Of course just my opinion, I personally think the system needs a price drop or an actual amazing bundle maybe thats why I feel that way. The box art looks cool though, and it is better than just having the SMB option

Reeze3285d ago

I think it's a good deal, because you get the deluxe version of the console (originally $350) along with two games totally free. That's around $170 in savings, at least from when I bought my Wii U. I would like a splattered console design, but I don't see how this isn't a great deal.

LAWSON723285d ago (Edited 3285d ago )

The system is $300 and has been for a long time whether it was $350 a year or two ago is irrelevant now.

Reeze3285d ago

It gives you two free games. I literally do not understand why you're complaining.

LAWSON723285d ago (Edited 3285d ago )

I am not complaining I am simply stating my point this is not an amazing offer. Do you really think most people would get NintendoLand if it was an optional addition for $60 more? I think not, and Nintendo probably believes the same or else they would not throw it in every bundle. All this bundle is is the same thing all three companies have been doing, regular retail price with a free game.

Heck I looked and NintendoLand is $12 new and $10 used at GS, but yeah amazing deal, mind blown keep up the insane deals Nintendo.

Sorry, but as far as deals go this really is not some big deal or good unless you dont have a Wii U and want Splatoon at launch. It is also a nice way to get people to notice and pick up the game so kudos to them for making it a bundle.

You act like this has $170 worth of bonuses that is actually worth that yet NintendoLand goes for $10, the wii u is $300 not $350 so no $50 off, and Splatoon is $60. Your overblown $170 is in reality just $70 if you actually really wanted NintendoLand, and whether it would have cost you that a year ago is irrelevant today.

I tell you what if it was two games with $40+ retail value it would be a damn good deal, but it is not it is an okay deal. NintendoLand is that little incentive to make an ignorant person think they are getting another game, yet everyone else knows it is a game they would probably otherwise ignore if it was $40-60.

Another thing that could have made it an amazing deal if it was a cool limited edition console/gamepad with paint splatters etc. This is just nothing more than the standard buy a system get a free game promotion that has been happening for a very long time.

Another fun bundle for Wii U. I have a feeling this game is going to be a successful new IP. I can't wait. This bundle looks slick...

colonel1793285d ago

again with exclusivity deals. Doesn't Nintendo want to sell their stuff. I mean, is it really hard to offer their products everywhere?

Blank3285d ago

I know its a bit baffling its a new IP, and this bundle was meant to promote Splatoon. Somehow they still thought "store exclusive bundle that'll do the trick!"

Looking Ahead: The Lingering Questions About the Next Mario Kart

VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "10 years. It’s been almost 10 years since the last mainline release in the Mario Kart series. Mario Kart 8 came out for the Wii U in 2014 and became the best-selling game for the system by a sizeable margin, and later pulled the same magic trick on the Nintendo Switch under the stage name Deluxe. All in all, it's sold nearly 70 million copies over the last decade and is still selling like hot cakes to this day, so it’s no wonder Nintendo has been in no rush to replace it. However, with rumors of a new system being just around the corner, and reports a few years back that a new Mario Kart is indeed under way, it seems the era of 8 might very well be drawing to a close. It’s an exciting prospect to be sure, but after two Nintendo systems with Mario Kart 8 at their heart, a lot of questions remain about how Nintendo will choose to follow it up."

I hope they just keep building on Mario Kart 8; Add a track-creation tool, and probably open it up to more Nintendo IPs with new tracks and characters, so Metroid, Punch Out, Starfox, Animal Crossing, etc etc.

there wont be a new one until the switch 2 comes out.

nintendo needs their bangers early on
