Star Wars: Battlefront Won’t Have Battlelog; Won’t Be Battlefield with a Star Wars Skin, and More

There have been rumors floating around that Star Wars: Battlefront might have its own Battlelog, but that has now been denied by Assistant Producer Jesper Nielsen, who set the record straight and provided more information

Well I mean, it started off as a Battlefield clone, that's how Battlefront came to be. So it'll most likely have the same feel in terms of the vehicles and stuff, but I hope they can add new things into it.

Quite possibly the best news I have heard all week. This game now has a legit shot at being something big and not just another re-skin of Battlefield 3. Because lets face it, that is what BF4 is and it is what BF Hardline is. They are both prettier modified BF3 games imo.

That's the one thing I hate about bf3/4 that cursed Battlelog. I preferred the in game browser just like in battlefield 2 and bad company 2.

Ill believe it when I see it. To make a Battlefront game from the ground up in 2.5 years, and to have it be completely unique from Battlefield would be impressive.

Ive been burned before by EA, so I'll wait till the footage and judge for myself.

I am happy to hear that it won't be just a Star Wars themed Battlefield, but I have never had any issues with Battlelog. At first it seemed awkward, and the old-school part of me longed for "in-game" server lists. But After awhile though, I learned to appreciate Battlelog for what it does. Then again, I have been one of the lucky ones on PC who never really experienced too many issues with BF3/4. I could see my opinion heavily swayed in another direction if I were to of had the issues many others had.

No Battlelog... Good thing because I can't even get the app to work since the Hardline update.
It'd be nice if it did have a similar app though.
This game is going to be epic!

Thank Odin. All I ever see from Battlelog in game is "Failed to communicate with Battlelog"
