GTA 5 PC crash and launch issues – There are workarounds

GTA 5 is out and as expected there are a few launch and tech issues causing problems for players. There are however a few workarounds to address these.

That's the great thing about PC gaming. If you're one of the small minority that has a problem you can actually fix it yourself unlike other systems where you have to wait and pray that they release a patch. Being on an open system really has it's privileges. Haven't had a single problem with this game though. It runs like an absolute dream maxed out @1080p 60fps for me.

thats the great thing about pc gaming, devs dont bother fixing their games for you.
even if its a 2 yr old game thats come to 4 different platforms before itll almost certainly be riddled with bugs and glitches

never said console version didnt have bugs.but the damn thing came out 2 years ago on 10 ye old hardware and rockstar fixed all bugs themselves.
2 years of wait and the so called best version comes riddled with glitches and bad servers, not justified.
bugs arent unacceptable, but your statement is pathetic, you are somehow defending the fact that devs care less about pc by saying they let you fix it themselves.lol.
as high as the number of steam accounts is, devs expected better sales off of a userbase of roughly 20 million(ps4xb1 in november) when most of them owned even the last gen versions.
no one is denying that the pc version is superior, but in the big picture, it sure as hell is irrelevant.
pc gamers will play gta v for the next 6 years and no one will give a crap.
now , i do admit modders do a fantastic job.but most of the pc gamers are casuals you would pirate the game if they have , never use mods and run it on laptops.
all the pc gaming ive experienced, its been about altering gfx settings every 5 minutes and then ruining the game with mods

It seems that it's GTA IV PC shitty version all over again. I heard that some Pc players were also experiencing a lag or framerate issues even on powerful rigs.
