Naughty Dog Hires Extremely Talented Artists for Uncharted 4: Check Out Their Awesome Work

As the production of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End intensifies, Naughty Dog has been working on strengthening its teams, and they recently hired two extremely talented artists for the game.

I've been doing a bit of 3D modeling in a program (Maya) and also played around with sculpturing inside ZBrush.

The amount of detail, attention and sheer talent that goes into creating such models as Glauco Longhi has done is nothing short of astonishing. I can only fathom how many years he had to practice to be this good! :o

Maya is such a pain sometimes. The menus and nodes are so in organized. Zbrush is very clean and easy to use. Maya can just be a headache sometimes but infinitely powerful.

I am hoping hoping that U4 is a game changer. I expected more then what I saw earlier with the gameplay demo, but now I am more optimistic since they delayed it. I figured they weren't too excited about it either. There's so much they can accomplish with this new hardware and they should take full advantage just as Rockstar has done

Naughty have an eye for talent. They are always hiring the best. This is why ND are one of (or arguably) the best studios in the industry.

Good renders. my only issue when I see talent like this, most of this never really surfaces in game content. Blizzard entertainment, CD projekt, lucasarts, 343, and most companies have a hundred man team of artists only used for the introductions. It would be great to see it port to game content.

From what I've heard, the hiring process at ND is pretty intensive.

Good way to ensure only the best talent is on board.

Well they are the one developer who really doesn't have any failed IPs at all....That alone shows how much time, effort and care go into anything they develop
