"Following on from their last generation’s success, NetherRealm Studios have only further improved their fantastic creation." - GamerTime UK's Review on Mortal Kombat X
All playable on October 5.
Cool. Wanted to play Hell Let Loose and I always enjoy a good golf game. Mortal Kombat X should have been 11 IMO though.
MKX was already in PS Plus Collection. This is the second time they've double dipped. Thank god the golf game lets u hit balls into the crowd.
Hell Let Loose looks great but it's not a casual game and a bit of a acquired taste. It's nice for people to dive in a d try it though. MKX is already on PS5 for free with the PS collection so that bad for PS5 owners and it was only two months ago everyone complained about a sports title being included as a game but yet they follow suit with another one 🤦🏻♂️
PS Plus started so well at the beginning of the year too.
Yesss!! Played HLL open beta and it was amazing. The immersiveness, the one bullet shot, you can't just go running around shooting like in CoD or Bf.
Two martial arts expert attempt to recreate some of the moves from Mortal Kombat X.
Mortal Kombat X and Mortal Kombat XL received a minor update today that is apparently related to some interface changes as per the patch notes.
I doubt the reviewer is pretty good in fighting games when I read sentences like: "The first round of the fight will be rather sluggish and poorly paced, as you will see yourself constantly frozen in place by Sub-Zero’s relentless attacks"
Also not one word about how good or bad the netcode is, about all the custom items/rules that can be enabled in multiplayer modes, the Krypt or the Kombat Challenge Towers.
The reasoning behind me leaving some features out of the review is simple. Most have figured within the franchise for years, and even if the game is filled to the brim with such, it doesn't make it good. Dragon Age Inquisition is full of senseless additions, however duo to its poor mechanical composure such are nothing but unnecessary bother. Therefore I have decided to concentrate on mortal komabt's design and mechanics as they make the game what it is. And towers, and challenges that you have all mentioned are nothing more than mere additions to Netherrealm superior display of creativity.
Oh Netherrealm how u have fallen
Your complaints, and constant arguing is simply futile. If you are self-centred enough to think that everyone who is a potential Mortal Kombat customer is a professional with tournament like abilities, you are simply deluded. I agree, I've played through the entirety of the game on 'medium', and some because of it treat me like a heretic unworthy of Mortal Kombat.
However, while acknowledging that the game is full of features, your overall stance have only further proved my argument that mention of such is unnecessary. Most of you can recite the said features from the back of your head, making provision of such wasteful as in your minds only pros such as yourselves will play the game.
When writing a review I am constrained by an undisclosed word limit, if I was to write about everything that Mortal Kombat has to offer the review would be 3 to 5 thousand words long, and then its length would be the main complaint. Therefore I decided to use the 1000 words, which I had at my disposal to describe game’s design and mechanics, as most players are not 'pros' and will have no, to little experience with the franchise.
On a side note, I'd like to say that the copy of the game that I have used for my review is not from an illicit source, as it was simply delivered early from a well-known retailer.
If you are still overflowing with bitterness, then I'd like to familiarize yourself with my final words, which you can consider to be my epitaph for this thread.
''Well, that's just too f... bad, SUNSHINE''
