lol... this should be an interesting read.

Edit: "Intercooler is designed to be easily clipped onto the top side of the system. It uses a quiet fan to help push out the hot air generated from the console faster, which keeps the hardware at a cooler temperature." while that sounds good in theory I would love for someone independent do a heat test on this in use and not in use... It seemingly acutally covers up a portion of the existing fan which reduces that fans effectiveness and if its still in a small cabinent I dont see this being a better air flow option. Additionally the design makes an already large foot print even larger and possibly too big to fit in most cabinets.

If anything, this may lower the life of your Xbox One. Stay clear of intercoolers for Xbox Ones, as the system was conceptualized with cooling in mind, any alterations to its airflow could cause efficiency issues.

How bout you explain to us why you are still making intercoolers and not pioneering interesting, new, worthwhile peripherals Chris?

I'd never put this thing on my Xbox..

Nyko makes cheap ass crap and are out to make a buck (not hating) even if that means making and marketing a unneeded product..

Ms choose a low rpm large diameter fan.. Its air volume, not speed that's important..

I believe adding this product will actually harm your unit in the long run

They are selling one, so they think you need one.

But you probably don't

thexmanone3324d ago

My Xbox has been on since it came out, It never gets hot.Do not buy this.

Gamer7773324d ago

You don't need this; the XB1 fan and heatsink are oversized for efficient cooling. No current console needs an intercooler. Just give your console room to breath.

SpaceRanger3324d ago

The large overall size of the Xbox one and its fan are both used to dissipate heat from the console. I don't own an xbox one, but I'm 100% sure that this was a last gen condition to fix (speaking from experience with the fat PS3 that could literally cook a burger at its hottest temp.).

I wouldn't advise these to anyone this gen. Technology on all consoles has improved enough to avoid this.

6 Fun Games Where You Actually Play As The Bad Guy

While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.

Profchaos1h ago

Pretty much all of these games listed are based around a morality system you don't have to be bad and you don't have to be good.

It seems to have left out some real amazing games like red dead redemption 1/2,ass effect and true crime la/ny

Armored Core VI?

Ok, I'm really missing something here. Just beat chapter 3 earlier this evening, unlocked A-rank Arena fights. I'm not seeing or sensing any branching paths or morality system and I've done every side mission and arena fight available to me up to that fight.

Is something big coming soon to branch the story?

No mention of Grand Theft Auto? Saints Row (original trilogy), Manhunt? Also The Suffering (depending on the ending you get).
