Thats actually pretty small. Consider we got many games that massive on PS3 last gen.

I was expecting it to be a big larger considering just how large they are saying they want the game to be.

Massive, but not overly massive consider just what they are trying to do.

I'm ok with the size as this is nature progression of gaming.

Consider those who liked their "cheap" 360's, also supported using DVD twice, as suppose to MS using HD-DVD or even Bluray.

Yet...Mass Effect isn't open world like this game is....

Many, many missed opportunities last gen based on that limitation.

This game is what Mass Effect in terms of size can technically be now that every XONE has a bluray player and HDD...

Very happy to see this game living up to its technical potential, very happy to finally see mulitplatform games using much more space to convey what they are trying to convey, vs limiting, cutting corners, stripping content etc to fit 8gigs.

This will be an all around great gen!

They never said it was never coming merely that they would focus on them and that it wouldn't lessen the game in any way...sorry but if you follow the game, you know that Roberts has been open to it and will likely port it.

That comment is for consoles in general.

Sorry but 360 using DVD again limited many, many games FFXIII, GTAIV etc.

GTAV needed an install to be played on 360 and so did MGSV (thank god)

My issue is the nerfing of the game to fit on 1 DVD.

Those games that have installs, I haven no issue with, but FFXIII and GTAIV will be known as the worst in those series because of that limitation and because those publishers tried to cut corners to make it work with such limitations...

Yet FFXIII Versus was at one point ONLY being made on PS3, yet was going to be cross gen from PS3 to PS4 and XONE....NOT 360.

Mind you...its been confirmed they where going to do that.

They where working on next gen systems ALONG with the PS3, later the PS3 version was canned, ie they had no plans for a 360 version.

just like Square had no plans for KH collections on 360, Ubisoft with Prince Of Persia or Splinter Cell collection, or MGS4.

DVD just doesn't have the room and those companies where not going to be wasting money on extra dvd's because of MS issues..

GTAIV's limitations. ie FFVII for n64...we only know of what it could have been after GTAV lol! (..with an install to make sure its a real GTA game)

sorry but the limitation was a thing and it seems only Sony developers didn't have to worry about that when they made their mega exclusives compared to most developers......

Again...its why you still see some PS3 exclusives from some companies...its likely because they can't be made on 360 unless with many disk, install etc royalties MS may not actually pay.

Sorry but facts are facts, DVD9 was used many times during PS2's era and used AGAIN during 360's, GT series got larger, Forza's car count barely went up, MGS4 got to get made etc.

Developers didn't have to cut corners, hinder games, strip features etc.

I'm not even sure who the hell would defend a lessor format or make it seem as if its not a big deal...it was to FFVII on PS1 compared to N64, would we really just want it made on n64 knowing what would have been FFVII will now likely never be made? or made the next gen? ie holding everyone back?

you should have done more research. There is not one 100gb game for ps3.

It may support 100gb disk but those disk are slower.

Funny that, I just downlaoded a game called Star Citizen at 20GB. They're talking about the finished game which by their targets is around 20% complete. If it does reach 100GB that'll be a tonnoe of added content.

with DX 12 another gtx 970 will add 3.5gb to the current one, i will 7gb at 1440p will run the game at ultra or will flight stick.
