PS4 or Xbox One: Who's Winning 2015

PYB: The year 2014 was an incredible year for gaming. We witnessed the first full year of the current-gen game consoles. The PlayStation 4 ends the year scoring sales of over 18 million units, while the Xbox One remained a defiant competitor. Is it Sony's year again?

i think its tough to call. Sony had a great year with the PS4. but the Xbox One has enough exclusives to take on the PS4. Awesome photo. Street Fighter V is a surprise exclusive on the PS4, it could give Sony the edge. Its going to go down the wire in 2015.

It's just going to be a repeat of 2014. Possibly even better for PS4 considering it has much bigger and more exclusives releasing this year than 2014.

The Ps4 games releasing this year appeal more to me, but its not like the Xbox One has a shortage of games. With TR, QB, and Halo 5, I'm sure that anyone who owns an xbox will not be disappointed.

Agreed, same as last year. Sony has games all year round. Xbox packs them all in at Christmas.

Weird question. First of all,what is considered winning, sales, more exclusive titles? I know that sony has a lot more exclusive titles lined up so its all about what winning means to a person. Ps4 has a lot more sales so its a weird question

With ps now and ps share feature i dont see any other gaming system has good as sony at the moment.

On the PS4, other than Bloodborne and SFV which will eventually release as a super duper x edition on Xbox One, there isn't much for me.

However, Xbox One has Halo 5, Quantum Break, Ori, Tomb Raider, Fable Legends and more, so I think Xbox One will get my time and money.

Ide say gamers are the winners. It all depends on what games you are into though. For me the Xbox one and WiiU had more games I wanted last year and in 2015 its the same at the moment. This is not because I think the ps4, 3ds or psv are bad consoles just the games I'm into more are on these consoles. That said we are only in January and when UC4, GT and GOW come out on the ps4 ill be picking one up and completing my console collection.

No matter what is your console of choice that is the right choice as they are all great consoles for different reasons.

Gamers are the winners as Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo are all making great games but it all depends on what type of games you are into to what console you should get at the moment. Nobody really knows yet. As of now the big AAA exclusives THAT WE KNOW OF (this is key) for both consoles are X1 - Halo, Quantum Break, Tomb Raider, Forza 6 Fable, (possibly scalebound, and Phantom Dust)... PS4 - Uncharted, Bloodborne, the order. Note i said AAA exclusives, i understand PS4 has many other titles releasing exclusively smaller titles but so does the X1 as well, i was strictly talking big AAA titles.

That's what gets me a shortage of games for 10months and then 3 big one then rinse and repeat.

Im not 100% but i believe Fable is the earliest title we will see. Then probably Quantum Break, with the others coming later in the year.

I will say though MS is known to show games at E3 and they end up coming out that same year though. So dont be surprised if they have 1 or 2 more AAA titles coming out in 2015 that will be announced at E3.

Until Dawn is a big release I'm looking forward to. IMO there maybe surprise announcements and if the slim PS4 I saw on gamepur is real its mindblowing. M$ also working on a slim xbox so all that can have some importance

X-Box One had the better exclusives in 2013 and 2014 and still lost.
2015 ... Sony appears to have the much better exclusives overall so they should win easily worldwide.

HOW big the gap becomes is the question and can Microsoft at least stay close or win in America with their semi official price drop.

PS4 will win 2015 because of all the momentum it is still bringing from 2014 as well as lots of cool exclusives this year like The Order and Bloodborn. XB1 has a nice lineup also especially Halo 5 but it has a LONG way to go b4 it can catch the PS4 which is white hot. I have both and it is expensive because the games arent cheap but I wanted the XB1 for Sunset OD and crackdown when it releases otherwise I cant deny I like my PS4 more because of the cool new IP's Sony is always rolling out and I also like their exclusives better because they dont just focus on MP they have cool narrative driven gameplay which to me is what playing a good game is all about not trying to keep up with COD online shooters which are way to abundant and put MP before a good story. Just my take on this.

I think their both winning to be honest, both have some great games coming and sales are strong, yes Sony have sold a lot more, but MS have done really well in my opinion and are only getting stronger. At the end of the day you buy what you like and neither console is going anywhere. Going to be a great year for gamers.

Sony didn't force crap, gamers did. Bang on about that all you like, but MS have shown they can change stuff rather quickly. Sony are not without their problems and have issues especially regarding PSN, I've not seen the turn around with their network that one would wish for, when I do I'll consider buying one.

Fed up of people bringing up past points that are no longer a problem, what you need to do is talk about the issues that are a problem now. Xbox Ones party chat can be crappy at times so I'll voice that, I don't bang on and on about rubbish that isn't an issue any longer.

It's January and no exclusive titles have been released. So it's a tie. Basing this on games that haven't been released or reviewed is like having a pissing contest over whose's 1 year old will have a bigger schlong after puberty.

If the game you want to play doesn't come out for a month, wait 1 month and 1 week to spend your $$$. Last year was full of dissapointments.

There really isnt a single exclusive game on xb1 that i want enough to justify buying the thing.. I do want it but not until its redesigned with more games i like to play..

Who's winning?? Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo has the best software line up and cheapest ways to play.. PS4 and Xbox ARE GREAT!!! But they are interchangeable, But xbone has more exclusives (even if they are rather mediocre.. PS4 and XB1 are 3rd party game collectors.. Not much difference.
