Resident Evil (2015 Remake) Review — paulsemel

With both original and new controls that are awkward, and not the original graphics, the Resident Evil HD remake isn't for nostalgia buffs or modern gamers.

It's still most scary videogame ever created by miles

As much as I love it, I'd still have to disagree. PT and Alien Isolation have that place for me. Alien was so tense that i had to take breaks to calm myself down. Never had that with any RE's

This is kinds a sad review. Smackin the classics? :/ disappointing....

DarkOcelet3382d ago

There has to be a clikbait stupid review.

kayoss3382d ago

His review of this game is very contradicting. He's complaining that this is not the original resident evil game because it's not the original graphics. If capcom were to release it in its original graphics, what's the point of an hd remaster?

This review.. sweet mother of god, not enough jump scares, Slender references, or animal costumes lying around?

Kids these days, don't know atmosphere.

lipton1013382d ago

I thought the same thing. This "journalist" was probably born after the first even premiered.

It screams "I, myself, an indie horror fan"

Before all these cheap quick scares appeared, we had Silent Hill and Resident Evil, relying on terrifying sub stories via memo's, atmosphere that almost forces you to stay away from any slight noises, and enemy's that are better to be avoided than attacked.

Kids these days, spoiled by todays sugar rush horror scheme, this review is absolute garbage.

Can't wait to play this. This game brings back awesome gaming times. Everthing about it. Hearing that depressing save rooms music again, killing zombies, crows, giant spiders, snakes & sharks. Good times indeed. Oh and fighting vicious dogs that jump through windows.

Eternal Darkness was way ahead of its time especially for a Nintendo exclusive.

I would love to see a remake or sequel (multiplatform)

Ristul98d ago

When I see Eternal Darkness, I klick!

TheBrainZ98d ago

Not to sound too repetitive but Eternal Darkness all the way!

This Feature Makes Lethal Company Scarier Than Resident Evil

Games like Lethal Company end up scary because of their freeform nature, while Resident Evil's polish and storytelling ultimately make them rather tame in comparison. Agree or disagree?
