as technology progresses, so does medicine and treatments to prolong life. the fact is that US has the highest growth rate for health care spending in the world, illness are on the increase, so are mental illnesses, autism, diabetes you name it etc. we are all on medication for something. people are sicker than they ever were, theyre just less likely to die from a lot of things nowadays due to medicine. almost every type of cancer has been rising at an alarming rate, world wide, not just in the US, cancer rates are growing have been and continue to. the rates greatly exceed the population increase. these are the facts.
