Hmm, the guy is obviously not aware of Ubi's track record. Or maybe Ubi is providing this guy or people like these guys with info therefor they have to hype it.

Ubi gets them info, in exchange of getting more subscribers and general fame.

So if they don't say nice stuff Ubi takes there info back and probably marks their channel.

Listen the game LOOKS great from what I'm seeing but how will this game play on realistic hardware/home consoles? Ubi has poor track record and YT the guys and gals that we thought were/are credible are selling themselves to Ubi and other AAA manufactures.

My god what is coming of gaming...

Geekman3396d ago

Oh yeah. TWO GAMES. What a horrible track record.

KnightRobby3396d ago

Always some sort of negative comment. There's still plenty of things that are enjoyable in the world of gaming. It's a bit of a narrow perspective to list the bad and none of the good.

And no, Open World Games has never been endorsed or supported by Ubisoft. All info is independently gathered. And OWG covers more than just Ubi games...

...but it is run by the Illuminati. :P

Happy New Year everyone! Stop taking life so seriously!

I am looking forward to The Division, but I must admit Ubisoft is worrying me after Watch_Dogs and Assassin's Unity...plus the fact it's 2015 and still no whiff of console gameplay footage for The Division. All that spells troublesome to me.

If someone is Blaming UBI they have every right, UBI use to be a company about gamers and they cared about the products they work on. Now its all about trying to make sequels and try to release every game on yearly bases

NO DOUBT the quality for UBI AAA lineup as dropped, they have released broken games. Uninspired games with a very shallow story like in AC3,AC:Unity

AC series has been using the same mechanics for a long long time, like sitting on the damn bench to listen to someone or following a group to avoid guards. Don't even get me started on the Clunky combat

after playing shadow of mordor the AC combat is just straight out old school and not in a good way

watch dogs over hyped and huge advertisement
Unity broken
The crew not living up to any sort of hype

so no fans have every right to worry, It seems like to me UBI over promises and under delivers

elninels3396d ago

Do you expect a company to not advertise for something they invested in heavily?

showtimefolks3395d ago

elninels

no but they also pay for advertisement of gaming sites so the chances that we get a fair review is a lot less likely. so

Muzikguy3396d ago

Well I don't have faith in Ubisoft or this game. After WD I won't believe anything until after the game is released and I can see for myself. I've already seen this game get downgraded. It happened to WD like 3 times before it came out. I tend to not be so serious unless I really mean something. And I really don't think Ubisoft deserves the sales they want until they turn around like EA had to. There's far too many games out there too be worried about the open world "trash" games Ubisoft has released lately. My opinion of course

Happy New Year!!!

LamerTamer3396d ago

After I found that this is online-only I lost all interest.

Cra2yey33395d ago

Only online does hinder the game just a little. Destiny for example. But if the servers are like destiny and only go down when Psn go down that's ok. But still, even when they go offline, I would still like to do things in an offline world

I am in absolute agreement with the OP 👌

shinoff2183376d ago

I hate when I see single player games and see people begging for multi-player. Jeez guys it don't need to be on every game. Latest one I seen was atomic heart.

-Foxtrot375d ago

Multiplayer or even co-op

If it was always a single player game then that's how it is

Inverno375d ago

It's a trend that never really went away. For me multiplayer in a primarily SP focused game was an excuse for DLC. Then there's the mentality gamers had that adding multiplayer makes a game worth the price, otherwise it should be half price for half a game. A way of thinking devs reassured when they started adding multiplayer to their sequels. We see the same with multiplayer focused games getting SP in their sequels.

Flawlessmic375d ago

Tbh multilayer now is a way to add live service and mtx elements, very rarely does it come of well.

What single players game used to be in a lot of cases now require 3 other people for keeping to really enjoy it and I hate having to rely on others to get the maximum from a game.

Sp should be sp, if devs want to add a separate multi mode then that's fine with me, the legends addition to ghost of tshushima was fricking sick but totally separate to the main game. Sick of co op too.

Hofstaderman375d ago

I remember when certain single player games had them as included optional modes that was played on the couch. Had brilliant times with Syphon Filter and Golden Eye. Me and my bro used to used to fight over who would play as Gabe even though it was technically just a skin. Good times.

Dagexon375d ago

I didn't notice your comment before I added mine.
But good times indeed
