Pokémon GO Shows No Sign of Slowing Down in Latest Figures

There's no mistaking that it is here to stay, and here's the numbers to back it up.

Nothing can prove its here to stay, it's much too early to say that.

And its still broken. 5th day now.

They said they will update the game with trading very soon and legendary Pokemon captures similar to the trailer with each team such as mystic .
And update with new gen Pokemon every 6 months or so.
Personally, I can't believe I'm saying this about a mobile game but it's GOTY.

Game is barely one week old. Come back in a couple of months. If the mobile app market has proven anything, it is that there is nothing here to stay.

First off this is no some small company indie company making a cash grab game, a major publisher is behind it. If you are up to date with the impact of this game then you will know how big this game is.
They have already stated they will update the game with new Pokemon in the coming month.

Actually pokemon go was pitched by niantic a company originally created and owned by google before becoming independent to nintendo themselves with the framework of pokemon go being a variation of their previous game ingress however considering how technically fucked the game is with freezing and crashes this is a problem that needs fixing soon.

I would say the only thing keeping this from immediate failure is that its captured the essence of what pokemon would be like in real life this might be nintendos ip being used but niantics the one who made the game with some experience from previously working on ingress however if they don't start fixing the frustrating technical issues the game has they will start to see a drop in their player base.

People might love pokemon but that doesn't mean it will generate unlimited patience to the games many issues my least favorite being that this game fucking burns through my battery at a horrific pace that being said despite its issues it is still a game i like but that doesn't mean im gonna call it goty because it has way too many technical issues for me to do that and not be called a fanboy due to overlooking the many technical issues the game currently has.

So true. The mobile game market, especially on mobile phones, should prove to anyone that those games don't last long. Especially free to play ones. Yes, you'll have a few that stick around like candy crush and the SIMS. Pokémon Go could be that next one, who knows. Not a certainty that's for sure

The thing that works against Pokemon Go having the same staying power as Candy Crush is that it's just too much work, people are lazy.
