More Thoughts From Me E3 Special Edition: Sony Blew My Mind

From GamesReviews:
"Daniel liked what Microsoft did yesterday, but didn't love it. Sony, on the other hand...well...look at the title of this article. That was the one of the most amazing conferences I have ever seen. Let me tell you why. Welcome to the second More Thoughts From Me E3 Special Edition. This time its all about Sony."

Yeah Sony is just carrying E3 on its shoulders.

TBH, After the Microsoft conference I have to admit I was a taaaad worried. I love State of Decay and this was the first Forza Horizon I've been interested in... Not to mention Scorpio, "even though it's horrible for the long run of the industry, keeping a bottlenecked 8gb ram console alive into the mid 2020's", was still a big bomb to drop, "but wtf was with them killing the S right after?... Is this company retarded?...

But when Sony came on stage, they just... Idk... I feel bad for Microsoft. Like, I hate them. But I still feel bad.

Every year their fans say, "next year guys, next year", and that year comes, and Sony craps all over their briefing. Tbh, I don't know how Microsoft is going to sell consoles this next 1.6 years now? People are just going to wait for the Xbox 3 refresh.

Oh well, I was christmas morning for me yesturday with Sony. Not only did they raise the bar for the industry again, they revitalized my love for gaming.

Not only was Sonys show great and straight to the point with games. They embarassed MS and their corny showing.

Elda2866d ago

MS show was so boring, offering nothing original to play.

I love the new direction Shawn Layden is doing for the PlayStation Brand. I was skeptical at first when they replaced Jack Tretton, but now he's probably the best thing that ever happened in the PlayStation history. A lot of anticipated games came true and Sony really listened to the fans in general.

That is how you do a gaming conference! Sony was best in show...plain & simple!

Ranking the Devil May Cry Series

VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "Upon finally finishing Devil May Cry 5 recently - after it spent several years on my “I’ll play that soon” list - I considered giving it a fittingly-named Late Look article. However, considering that this was indeed the final piece I was missing in the DMC puzzle, I decided to instead take this opportunity to take a look back at the entirety of this genre-defining series and rank the entries. What also made this a particularly tempting notion was that while most high-profile series have developed fairly evenly over time, with a few bumps on the road, the history of Devil May Cry has, at least in my eyes, been an absolute roller coaster, with everything from total disasters to action game gold."

First to last for me...3,4,5,1,2.

VersusDMC5h ago

Me leaving it out should be telling of my thoughts on it. Better than 2 as a DMC game.

Still a good game though.

Friendlygamer6h ago

3,1,4,5 to me, never played 2. 5 gameplay is amazing but level design was really disappointing to me, just a bunch of plain arenas, the story felt like a worse written rehash of the 3rd and the charater models looked weird ( specially the ladies ). Another problem with 5 was that there was not enough content for 3 charaters so I could never really familiarize with any of them

2.
Dmc.
4.
5.
1.
3.

God DMC2 was an awful game.
And in case this isn't obvious it goes worst to best

Yui_Suzumiya3h ago

1 and DmC. The rest are unimportant.

DarXyde3h ago

Order changes depending on your focus. I tend to focus on gameplay/fun factor, so...

5, 3, 1, 4, 2.

I really didn't like 4 but commend Dante's weapon diversity. The retreading of old ground was pretty unacceptable to me.

But even then... Still more enjoyable than 2 for me
