They further write that, while Destiny 2 has not delivered as much as it should have on this front, Forsaken appears to be the big step that it needs to return to its greatest moments.

As part of the My Games Lounge look back on the first year of Destiny, David game has had a look individually at the expansion packs to the core game.
The review should have also mentioned the removed content such as the weekly, nightfall and daily strike content from the main game which now severely hampers gameplay progression unless you purchase the expansion
Personally I can't believe this is even legal in Uk, European Law.
It did mention that, albeit briefly. That content is now back in the rotation, so progress can resume as before.
