GameCrate: "Local multiplayer is currently enjoying a renaissance thanks to games the likes of Nidhogg and TowerFall, as well as compilations like Sportsfriends. Toronto-based developer 13AM Games wants to get in on that same style of mayhem-infused action with its upcoming downloadable title Runbow. Set to land on the Wii U eShop sometime in 2015, the game allows up to nine players to go crazy as they take each other on in colorful and unpredictable levels. I managed to get my hands on the game at this year’s IndieCade last month, and I had an absolute blast playing against the eight other competitors."
Starting today, Runbow and The Drone Racing League Simulator are free at Epic Games Store. The free game offers run until October 6 at 11 AM Eastern. Once you claim them, they're yours to keep.
VGChartz's Evan Norris: "13AM Games, an indie studio operating out of Toronto, first made a splash in 2015 with its colorful, addictive party platformer Runbow. Since then the company has experimented with several different genres and mechanics, developing action-adventure title Double Cross and beat-em-up Dawn of the Monsters, and porting and publishing retro-style arcade game Pirate Pop Plus.
To commemorate the launch of 13AM's latest game, the co-op kaiju beat-'em-up Dawn of the Monsters, we reached out to studio CEO Alex Rushdy, who was kind enough to answer our questions."
Runbow is a fast-paced, action party game with a distinct color mechanic.
