The looks pretty much looks the same to be honest. Xbox One looks just that tiny bit darker even then I had to look really close.

im guessing graphics are very similar. in a sports games it doesnt matter too much.

what matters more is input lag, net code and loading times.

I'm more interested in how it plays - and to be honest, it feels a step down from FIFA 14. Can see what they've tried to do, but don't think it works. Goalies are now too invincible and I struggle to get a player to the bounce of a clearance. CPU players hold the ball for way too long, taking on players when realistically they'd pass and the short passes at free kicks and goal kicks are not normal! It's nice presentation generally although taken out the selected highlights by the look of it - but still feels less solid in the game somehow.
Cancelling my pre-order, will see what PES is like but resigned to a year without football.

These videos are never a very good indication. You need to do the testing yourself on your TV, which I have done and this is what I've concluded. Unfortunately the demo on the PS4 has a flawed aspect ratio and is zoomed really badly. It's 100% a demo issue - final game will be ok. I ran the demo on both the XB1 and PS4 at the same time and switched back and forth while watching a computer controlled match (same teams, same jerseys). I have both systems routed through a Denon receiver then into a single input on my 60" Panasonic plasma, so exact same picture settings. While the graphics looked crisper on the XB1 version and the colours slightly more vibrant (this wouldn't be noticeable unless switching back and forth), I was unable to conclude that there is much of a difference simply because the PS4 version is zoomed in a bit and this could be taking away from the sharpness of the image. This is very apparent if you've ever played FIFA 14 and even more so when switching back and forth. The menus and on screen score displays are pushed more to the edge. Big fail on EA's part with this one. I had FIFA 14 for the PS4 but am now leaning on getting it for the XB1 this time around. Not so much because if this (it will be fixed), but the ability to use Kinect voice commands to switch tactics, formations and even players during the game was pretty cool and a very useful feature. I would never normally change a formation during a match because of having to pause the game and grind through menus, but if I can do it while playing this will definitely be useful. Looks like my Kinect will have some use after all.
