Definite upgrade this year
Right on! Looks great and awesome fun to play, looking forward to playing after traveling this week.
This is great news.
Seriously, not even trying to start a war here but, These ratings I have been seeing on N4G are really disheartening. I've been a fan of Madden for as long as I can remember, but as of lately it has been rehashed content that has no sense of direction, the engine it uses is no good for football and minimal upgrades year after year doesn't warrant our $60; whether it's taking out old features then implementing them a year or so later and calling them, "new," or just between the fact that it's been a whole 2 generations since players last names have been said by commentators (to all the people who are about to name drop the ones they do call, play connected franchise and tell me how long will it take you to go insane hearing simple names just referred to as their position). How in good faith could any respected football fan rate this game a: 10/10, 4/5 or even 3/5? This game is lacking core subtleties that make football football. This isn't even asking for too much cause those subtleties were in football games 2 GENERATIONS AGO. No score ticker on the bottom of the screen while in franchise mode? This was a feature they had on ps2. The commentators are so vague it's infuriating; as a franchise mode enthusiast you could only imagine how pissed off I am when my team is referred to as, "the home team," or "the away team." Better yet my coach is, "this coach," and my quarterback of my franchise is, "this quarterback." This is basic stuff honestly, Madden 15 gets a 10/10 ? Seriously? I don't just blame the reviewer honestly I've seen the other ratings on here too and they seem to be rating it high but it may be a Watch Dogs (that's a whole nother subject, but if you thought it was good play long enough and you'll find more bugs than that 90's Pixar movie)thing, just rate it off of hype and popularity for hits. I don't mean to discourage any one from getting it, I hope those who do get it enjoy their time, but as A long-time fan of the series I have had enough of this. This is honestly the first year I will not be buying Madden. I won't even raise my arms and beckon for a NFL 2K16 because I did like madden before (not at all last gen, but 6-gen Madden 01- 07 I enjoyed it a lot)and I honestly can play Madden 07 till the end of time but this is no where close to being a 10/10 and I feel like the masses deserve better than to be misled just because it's the only NFL game. If you too akin for those old Madden feels, just know, they aren't here. All that is here is remnants of times when Madden season meant more than being hopeful about next year's.
Be careful everyone! Don't step in the bullshit!
