Star Citizen will soon get a rather impressive character customization feature in alpha 3.23, but it's limited to the head. Yet, developers also want to implement body customization in the future.
Well I guess they couldn't have done so within the last two decades working on the game so probably it'll take another two decades

Maybe they don't have to think and they have already made the decision? I won't be surprised if they do bring it to consoles, even if that breaks all the PC hype over the game.
They of course, miss out on a large market if they don't release on the consoles... so.. We'll see. Maybe after the PC launch they'll announce it for consoles.
Can't really fault the guy for his position. If consoles would hold back his vision and ambitions for the game then don't make it for consoles.

I helped fund these guys, but they're getting pretty full of themselves. Obviously, a platform that can be upgraded without limit has the advantage. Throw a couple of Titans and the beefiest CPU on the market in there and you're set for a long time. Still, as good as Star Citizen looks, I'm not convinced it's out of the PS4's league.
