We snagged a few moments with Cubical Drift the team behind upcoming voxel based MMO RPG, Planets3 (also known as Planets Cube). We talked about the studio’s history, the inspirations behind the title and massive penises. Yeah, you read that right.
Gary Stott writes: "Recent work on the game has been focused on its crafting system, as well as introducing a host of new materials, weapons, tools, and an enemy known as the 'Arluloids' (don't get me started). That UI is looking pretty nifty, too."
Cubical Drift "We wanted to surprise you with the alpha: you will be able to experiment a first preview of a randomly generated dungeon. The goal is to show you the science fiction RPG aspect of the game and a preview of our generation engine. We spent almost 5 months to develop all mechanisms required for this new feature. 5 months during which we had to remain silent, to prevent any spoil of this surprise until today."
