I am soooooo glad I bought the PS4 Pro. Although I'm not a big fan of the character design, the enemies and environments in this game are incredible. This might be the best looking game I have ever seen on a console.

Yeah man. Super glad I bought the Pro too. It's stuff like this and others coming down the pipe that I knew would excel on PS4 pro and not necessarily existing stuff at its launch. Getting boost mode is just icing on the cake. Just think about titles in production right now that can plan and build all the Pro enhancements right in from the beginning and not have to go back and do the smaller patch tweaks as we have mostly seen so far. I think HZD is one of the first to truly do this.

Watch on an actual 4K display, the difference is pretty pronounced. Forget MUCH higher resolution, better texture filtering, much better tessellation, color gradients are also noticeably better on the Pro and of course draw distance. This is how Pro patches should be done, I'm hoping GG continues building on the 4K mode

This video is not in 4K so anyone saying there is a difference is lying. I have a 4K TV and a PS4 Pro so I'll see what it actually will look like in 4K HDR

Yeah the PS4 Pro is slightly better looking but nothing I would ever notice unless I was playing the standard PS4 version at the same time.

Looks close from that comparison, PS4 Pro version has slightly more effects and wind physics going on, but it doesn't detract from how great it already looks on the PS4 version.

What in earth. There is no difference, and certainly not worth another £150 to literally sit there and try and notice one pixel difference as that is, what this is.

Cannot believe that PS4 Pro sold as many as it has. It really does not grant a new purchase when I already own a PS3 that looks beautiful in all its games.

I want additional graphic features, like AO, Higher shadow resolution, longer draw distance, higher resolution on depth of field, additional physics particles and physics calculations...I don't want just a resolution upgrade..Sorry Sony, not impressed with PS4 Pro visual differences so far..still sticking to my basic ps4 for your exclusives..

I need to get myself a 4k tv, i keep watching these videos on a 1080p monitor, see not difference apart from more sand particles. But i know that's just my monitor.

These comparisons are pretty much pointless unless you're watching on a 4k HDR enabled tv, and even then the video is compressed and doesn't have HDR on so you can't tell the difference. PS4 Pro games look stunning when you see them in person, the HDR use on Infamous and Ratchet & Clank is brilliant.

What resolution is that checkerboard happening from? It looks really damn good, I'm guessing probably 1800p like Andromeda as they seem to share a similar picture quality. The Awe you feel in this game is so refreshing, can't wait to tear down some Thunderjaws

I wish there was a better 1080p mode. I would much rather have the option for better frame rate, effects, draw distance etc instead of a slightly crisper barely noticeable super sampled display. I don't know why they always seem to prioritise resolution over graphic effect quality other than laziness.

Supersampling alone makes IQ of the games like night and day,.. Hell Makes falout 4 look like a totally different game on PS pro,.. looks so damn good,.. (Yes fallout 4 looks amazing)

lol @ people saying it looks much better. Maybe cause i got just a 1080p tv, but there is indeed pretty much zero difference in textures and such, maybe it looks a little bit sharper, but really thats it for me. Not worth the upgrade, for this game.

It's funny how any "pc gamer" can see the drop of 1fps or how big is the difference between 1080p and 900p or if filter X is active or not but never see difference between a game on PS4 and Pro. Funny to see "XB gamers" who loved the improvements on XBS but also see no improvements in Pro.

It makes me wonder where are the people who saw so much difference in RDR of PS3/X360 and looked for grass in Mafia2 demo?

I have a really nice 1080p plasma tv from 2009 that still catches people off guard thinking I just bought a new tv..... I can tell the difference..... and this is a flash video!!! I'm missing the 4K and HDR part but I still see differences..... the normal PS4 has less draw distance you can see objects pop in much sooner more often (which is distracting) compared to the PS4 Pro which seems to have more draw distance.... Physics seem a bit higher/more detailed in the Pro version (Trees moving more in the wind shadows moving on the ground with windy / more objects moving). On a regular PS4 all that stuff seems dialed down on those details, like weather, dust, fog, rain, etc.......

In defense of a regular PS4 the game runs really great and look great but if you have the Pro or are thinking of getting the Pro .....there really has been enough games and facts to back up Sony's claims that the PS4 Pro is worth the money and that the Pro version and normal PS4 can actually co exist together and I believe Horizon encapsulates/embodies this believe. $250 for a PS4 slim uncharted or call of duty bundle and buy Horizion: Zero Dawn that's an awesome deal if your not planning on going 4k anytime soon or don't care about the extra details. If anything, PS4 PRO seems to have push developers to improve their gaming engines because Horizon runs great on a regular PS4 Pro...........

But only a blind person really can't see that there is noticeable improvement in Horizon on a PS4 Pro and people with 4K tvs and HDR I hear will enjoy the extra artistry without the compromise. I'm still waiting on reviews of the patch rumored to have a 1080p boost version..... hopefully that doesn't go bad visually like in other games....
