6 seems a little low but there are a lot of 7s at the moment. I imagine rts fans or halo fans would score it a couple higher at least especially if on pc. My thoughts are there isn't a lot you can change in rts really because it's been around a long time , as long as the basic formula is kept to it should be a great experience for rts/halo fans in general, I myself love command and conquer so I might get this for pc some time.

I have a feeling the Opencritic score might drop a bit once the PC version starts getting reviews, most (maybe all?) of the reviews so far have been of the XB1 version because the PC version "wasn't ready to be reviewed yet".

Well, while I agree with you, I think it's not surprising you're getting disagrees when you say "a lot of 7s" when there are like 3 out of 25 reviews. And your second answer won't help. You could have said "now that you mention it, that's true, it's mostly 8s", but you decided to talk about pathetic xbox fan girls that should move out of their parents house...that just makes you look any other fanboy (or girl).

Seems like a decent game if u can stomach RTS on console. Weird that Halo Wars Definitive and Halo Wars 2 both JUST hit Metacritic and BOTH have the exact same "pretty good" meta score. It's almost as if these were predetermined scores. Pick the reviews you want in order to achieve the predetermined score? Who knows..

It's only 1 point below The Last Guardian and that's been hailed by some people as a 'Masterpiece ' so yeah, not bad score at all, predetermined or not.

It's not a bad score, but my point is that at times it seems like Metacritic literally picks a predetermined score based on buzz and what they think it should be. It's tough bc Metacritic IS a barometer for how a game is scoring, so when your favorite game scores well it's hard not to get excited and use Metacritic as justification for why the game is good. And while it is A barometer, it is not necessarily THE barometer, and we should be mindful of that.

Now, having said all that it's still a tool (an imperfect one) to help us gage suggested quality. The Last Guardian is a Ueda masterpiece that was marred by technical issues. If TLG released without these technical problems it likely would've scored in or above the 90 range on Metacritic, similar to previous Team ICO games. Technical issues aside, TLG is better than an 82 Metacritic, based on content alone it warrants a higher score.
