Phil Spencer is ushering in a new age for the Xbox platform, one that could be appropriately titled ‘The Multi-Platform Age Of Xbox.’ It’s begun with four games coming to PlayStation and Nintendo consoles, and if recent reports are true, there’s many more to come.
Spencer dug a bit into why he’s leading Xbox in this new direction, and how part of this change comes from Gen Z buying habits, and the lack of growth in the console market.

Whether framerate or native resolution, it's exciting to see significant improvements on Pro.
Well as long as the framerate is good I don't believe PSVR users will have an issue with this.
The opportunity to sell my 3 year old PS4 and since I´m interested in PSVR, I jumped on it. So my PS4 Pro is primarily to support PSVR better. I dont have a 4K TV and probably wont get one of at least another year and I´m fine with that.
Considering the framerate is already 60fps minimum it makes sense to use it for rendering."
Expect this to be the case with most VR titles. Minimum frame rate requirements have already been set by Sony, the Pro will largely aid in making VR titles look the best they can as I think OG PS4 is going to struggle to hit the FPS needs and still look 'current gen' in VR.
