What I want to see in Fallout 4

I want to see some strong voice acting in Fallout 4. One of the best parts was hearing Malcolm McDowell giving his patriotic speeches through the wastelands. I want something similar to this.

I totally agree man. I almost put something about a protagonist with a voice, but the more I thought about, the more skeptical I was that it wouldn't work in a game like Fallout. That being said, some great supporting voices would be amazing!

I want a economy that the player can influence,base building and vehicles.

Really does seem like the next step after the decent job with Skyrim. I loved the economy in that game. I was a millionaire who bought all store goods like rings and alchemy ingredients and then upgraded and sold for a profit. They started something interesting with hearthstone and I would love to see that foundation based throughout all the games cities, though I think vehicles are unlikely.

A cover system would be interesting and shouldn't be too difficult to make.

Customizing armors, better character customization.

A large gameworld with different environments with maybe two or three cities and multiple towns all struggling with different issues. Maybe one area is overgrown vegetation, another was nuked hard like DC, and the other could be all snowed in. Maybe a fourth area that is pretty much regarded as 'the deadlands' where survival can be difficult; a high risk, high reward area.

Full stealth mechanics and making melee a viable option along with more options for melee. I'd love to be able to use daggers rather than just kitchen knives. Why not a small metal mallet or hammer?

Maybe something similar to Elder Scrolls' one-day powers but realistic ones. Maybe once per day you trigger a huge adrenaline rush, reducing damage taken and increasing melee damage. A perk system like Skyrim can help where you can evolve that power to sort of like a Barbarian's rage ability (impossible to sneak, but very large melee damage boost, damage reduction remains the same, enemies become intimidated now) in older RPGs. This can allow greater roleplaying.

Smithing and more diverse weapon customization.

Improved and customizable Hardcore mode so that some of the Hardcore mechanics that annoy some can be turned off, or they all can be ticked on.

Addition of guilds or major groups that can be joined; join one group, another group's as well as possibly other wastelanders' disposition increase and decrease. Karma system can offset this as well.

There are several things I'd love added to Fallout 4, but I won't really be too disappointed if none are implemented. I'll likely still enjoy it; I've yet to be disappointed by any of Bethesda's games since Oblivion (that was my first Bethesda game).

Had another idea: makeshift drones. We see batteries everywhere; why not grab remote control cars, rig a mine onto it, and drive it into a group? Remote control plane with a knife on the nose; kamikaze it and impale an enemy. I'd love to do crazy stuff like that.

I think they will be, as most of the things you said were already present in Fallout: New Vegas. Though not in the game but the DLC gave you fun and diverse new environments.

You had those invisibility devices which names I forgot, but they were something like the initial state of a real stealth system. You had more melee weapons. I preferred my katana and my sledge hammer over any gun.

You had different drugs which gave you different perks but caused addiction if over used which I found very interesting and entertaining.

Guilds were present, you could help out and join one of them but in return you'd be hated by another. And though not part of the game, there was a survival mod which added needs like hunger, water, sleep to your character which made playing in a nuked landscape even more fun.

I wouldn't really count the DLC environments as the same thing. There was no reason to go back to the Divide or Big Mountain, and the Sierra Madre isn't available when you leave. There wasn't much to any of the three locations, either despite them being fairly interesting. They were also felt very isolated from the Mohave Desert, which generally kills immersion.

The Stealth Boys only provide a cloak, but that's really your only option beyond just crouching. That's not enough for those that want a stealth-oriented playthrough; it also doesn't help that sneaking basically provides no challenge. If you have a high sneak skill, you're basically an invisible tank. It doesn't feel like stealth has a risk behind getting caught.

There were more melee weapons in New Vegas, but there still weren't very many interesting ones and your choices are fairly limited considering melee isn't very viable. It's still got that feeling as "back-up weapon only", even in a stealth playthrough.

The drugs aren't the same as having an innate ability. Pumping your character full of Buffout isn't the same as having them just lose it and start smashing skulls in. When it comes to the perk system, I was talking about the leveling system. While I liked Fallout's more than Oblivion's by miles, I like Skyrim's more than Fallout's.

There's a difference between guilds and joining one of four groups that is required by the story to join.

A mod isn't the same as it being in the game, though, seeing as console players don't have access to it.

I worded myself wrongly, sorry. I meant to say present in an inferior form. Of course I'd like to see them improved as well. I like stealth gameplay more than shooting rampage as well and I would like to see a in depth stealth system too. I generally like what you wrote, I liked the things that were already present but of course I wanna see improvement. And I wish they looked at the mods, some of them were amazing. Like dynamic weather system with effects such as radioactive storms increasing your radioactivity, Vehicles, Survival aspects and stuff. I would also like a better companion system, with more interactions and dialogue. Them just following you and smashing a few heads is kinds...boring.

Some of the cool new vegas features would be cool. Like the survival mode, and that you could kill pretty much anyone at anytime, fallout 3 and elder scrolls you just couldn't do that.

Oh and I hate that the world would "level up" with you, like in skyrim you really never had to be scared to go certain places.

Jep I hate level balancing as well. Where is the fun if you can kill pretty much everything from the start?
