ibtimes: Using the video editor mode available in the recent PC release of Grand Theft Auto V, PC Gamer recently captured and posted this video of Franklin, one of the game's characters, kicking a cat to death.
It professes to be punkish, rebellious and attacking of "the system" but ultimately attacks women, gay people and people of colour – like a man stomping a cat to death, Grand Theft Auto V uses its might to kick down at people whom society has already made vulnerable.
But Grand Theft Auto V is such a thick game, such an idiotic game, a game of such total classlessness or care that when thinking about it, I can't help but have my prose lowered to a single, emphatic statement: it's just stupid.
The GTA 5 Agent Trevor DLC episode could have been a real treat for fans on PlayStation and Xbox, before it was scrubbed sometime before 2017.
With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.
I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.
Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder
One of the reason I believe once gta 6 release, most of us thoroughly play it, enjoy the world they crafted then after that no offline support, no dlc at all
Grand Theft Auto V was released on PC on the 14th of April 2015. That means the game will be nine years old in four days, and it’s still among the most-played titles on Steam. With a 24-hour peak of 145K players, it’s as popular as Baldur’s Gate 3, Apex: Legends, and Destiny 2.
The freedom to explore large areas, approach objectives in multiple ways, and stumble across amusing distractions will always be an excellent format for video games, but some do it better than others. To celebrate the formula and parse the best from the best, have a look at the best open-world games of all time so far.
whoa!, look at you, somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.......prepare to be verbally abused! Lol
Nothing to see here folks, just someone begging for clicks.
This is a lot of the problems I had with the campaign. It doesn't make sense and suffers from lack of depth, poor pacing and decent characters which are hidden by a thin disguise of apparent satiricalness (which is does not have).
I think Rockstar needs to find out what GTA is. It tries to do all this serious, social commentary, soap style of story but fails to deliver as it also tries to also do the crazy wacky side of things. Saint Row is not a perfect game but at least it knows it is ridiculous and they go in that direction (I am not talking about having a dildo/dubstep gun in GTA but GTA's story should loose the seriousness/attempt at being a competent story). In future I think they should abandon the story entirely and just give you activities to do (like heists that have their own mini stories and events. GTA is a fun sandbox game but its story doesn't reflect that)
Unlike the author of the article, I am feeling articulate today, so I will point out the obvious, becasue obviouslyt the author maybe too stupid to come to the realisation himself.
Grand Theft Auto is just a medium.
What people choose to do in that medium is their perogative.
What people choose to do in GTA reflects their own ethics, and that is their perogative.
It is precisely becasue GTA allows for this level of personal expression that makes it sucha FUN game.
GTA is Fun.
That is all.
"It's just stupid. It's just a stupid game, made by stupid people about stupid people. The things it wants you to enjoy are stupid. The way it presents them is stupid. The missions are stupid, the writing is stupid, the whole tone is stupid."
Quality writing. If you are 8 years old.
